To prosper in the ministry I say: Be humble, broken,  loving, forgiving, gentle, Word based, peaceable, joyful, faithful, & led by the Spirit of God always. Be devoted to prayer & to the ministry of the Word. Do fasting regularly. Remember, the Bible says: The HUMBLE shall inherit the earth. (see Psalm 37:11, & Mathew 5:5).  The Bible says: A sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous. (see Proverbs 13:20 b). Let us do the will of God, let us be obedient to God & His Word in total, & God will confirm these Scriptures in our lives. God bless you.
The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, & speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from Heaven is above all. He testifies to what he has seen & heard, but no one accepts his testimony. The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. The Father loves the Son & has placed everything in His hands. (John 3:31-35). Jesus' testimony was trustworthy because He had come from Heaven & was speaking of what He had seen there. His words were the very words of God. We also can speak the very words of God because we are followers of Christ. God has enabled me to speak the language of the Bible, He can do the same with you, if you are willing & obedient. Your whole spiritual life depends on your answer to one question: Who is Jesus Christ? If you accept Jesus as only a prophet or teacher, you have to rejec...
My messages have become long of late. This is due to the kind of anointing that has landed on me. It's overflowing. It can be used better in churches, seminars or conferences, where you really have time to explain things. Please understand the situation. I cannot stop the Holy Spirit from telling me what He wants us to know. Be blessed. It is well with you.
Meanwhile the disciples urged Him, Rabbi, eat something. But He said to them: I have food to eat that you know nothing about. Then His disciples said to each other: Could someone have brought Him food? My food, said Jesus, is to do the will of Him who sent me & to finish His work. (John 4:31-34). The food about which Jesus was speaking was His spiritual nourishment. Spiritual nourishment comes from doing the will of God & helping to bring His work of salvation to completion. Spiritual nourishment includes more than Bible study, prayer, & attending church. We are nourished not only by what we take in, but also by what we give out for God. In John 17:4 Jesus refers to completing God's work on earth. It reads: I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave  Me. Paul said: I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the  race & COMPLETE the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the Gospel of God's gra...
Here a great number of disabled people used to lie - the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. From time to time an angel of the Lord would come down & stir up the waters. The first one into the pool after such disturbance would be cured of whatever disease he had. When Jesus saw him lying there & learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, He asked him: Do you want to get well? Sir, the invalid replied: I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me. Then Jesus said: Get up. Pick up your mat & walk. At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat & walked. (John 5:3-8). After 38 years, this man's problem had become a way of life. No one had ever helped him. He had no hope of ever  being healed & no desire to help himself. The man's situation looked hopeless. Jesus turned that hopeless situation by healing him. Here we see dialogue ministry in operation.  As h...
There is a level in ministry where what you decide upon will be done. What you say will be done. Your words will become like decrees. Heaven will back you up. Know always that Heaven Rules.I know many people enjoy to say: I declare, i decree. Yes, it's exciting to say those words,  people will perceive you as a  spiritual giant. But for God to establish what you have decreed, you ought to be having an intimate relationship & fellowship with Him; you ought to have faith, obedience & CHARACTER. You need to speak the language of the Bible all the time; to be a true witness of Jesus Christ, to live a life of holiness. Grace & peace be with you.
You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about Me, yet you refuse to come to Me to have life. (John 5:39-50). The religious leaders knew what the Bible said but failed to apply its word to their lives. They knew the teachings of the Scriptures but failed to see the Messiah to whom the Scriptures  pointed. They knew the rules but missed the Saviour. Entrenched in their own religious system, they refused to let the Son of God change their lives. Don't be so involved in religion that you miss Christ. The present day church is entrenched in its own religious system like what the religious leaders were doing during the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ. People are refusing to let Jesus change their lives. They are refusing to let Jesus increase in their lives, as a result, many are religious & not righteous. They know the stories which are recorded in the Bible, they even preach the Word t...
Church, it is not Scriptural to restrict the qualification to be filled by the Holy Spirit to a day, ie, Pentecost Sunday. If God wills to do it on that day ,its okay. God does not fill us with the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday only. He fills us daily. As for me i ask Him to fill me with the Holy Spirit daily. Rather, let us link the process to salvation; to a repentant heart, to accepting the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our lives. This is what is Scriptural. Just to bring clarity & balance & edify the Church. I have said it in love & out of good faith. God bless you all.
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words that I have spoken to you are Spirit & they are life. - He went on to say: This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless the Father has enabled him. (John 6:63, 65). The Holy Spirit gives spiritual life; without the work of the Holy Spirit, we cannot even see our need for a new life. (see John 14:17). All spiritual renewal begins with God & ends with God. The Holy Spirit reveals the truth to us, lives within us, & then enables us to respond to that truth. He helps us to live holy lives. Note that the Bible says: Without holiness, no one will see the Lord. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. He is not received by the world. The world neither sees Him nor knows Him. But we, the children of God know Him, for He lives with you & will be in you. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things & reminds us of everything Jesus has said to us. The Holy Spirit testifies about Jesus. I repeat: He talks a...
Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. By this He meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were later to receive.  Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. (John 7:38-39). The Holy Spirit is God in action. If we are filled by Him & avail ourselves to be led by Him, we will not fear anything; our lives will be characterized by boldness, power,  love & self discipline. We will preach the Word amid much opposition. The Holy Spirit will give us power to witness Jesus Christ to the remotest parts of the earth. Wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty or freedom. This means that we ourselves will not be bound by satan. We will be set free & we will also free others from all forms of satanic  oppression.  We will receive power to heal, deliver & to work out miracles. We will not do service WITHOUT God as the case with some of...
To the Jews who had believed Him, Jesus said: If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, & the truth will set you free. (John 8:31-32). Jesus  Himself is the truth that sets us free. He is the source of truth, the perfect standard of what is right. He frees us from the consequences of sin, from self-deception, & from deception by satan. He heals us from sickness & disease; delivers us from poverty, & all forms of satanic oppression. He shows us clearly the way to eternal life with God. Thus, Jesus does not give us freedom to do what we want, but freedom to follow God. As we seek to serve God, Jesus' perfect truth frees us to be all that God meant us to be. How can we know this truth? We need to hold on to the teaching of Christ. Those who do so, who abide in His Word, who are true to God, are really His disciples. And those who don't abide in His Word are not His disciples. They are not His followers. Yes, they may b...
I have never been so happy in my life. Things are just flowing. I do not struggle anymore to believe God for what I want in accordance with His will. I do not struggle to pray &/or make write ups. I do not struggle to work out miracles, signs & wonders. Everything is just fitting properly. I owe it all to Jesus. Praise the Lord. Truly, it is a new dawn in my life. Today is my sixth day in the office. I give God all .the glory.
As He went along, He saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked Him: Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? Neither this man nor his parents sinned, said Jesus, but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. (John 9: 1-3). A common belief in the Jewish culture was that calamity or suffering was the result of some great sin. But Christ used this man's suffering to teach about faith & to glorify God. We live in a fallen world where good behaviour is not always rewarded & bad behavior not always punished. Therefore, innocent people sometimes suffer. The Bible says in Philippians 1:29: For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for Him. When we suffer, if we faithfully represent Christ, our message & example affect us & others for good. (see Acts 5:41). Suffering has these additional benefits: It takes our eyes off of earthly comforts; it weeds out superf...
If you speak the Word of God in faith, your circumstances will change. Grace & peace be with you.
God has made me enjoy indescribable peace & joy in my life, the kind in which I have never experienced before. My faith has been strengthened. I no longer have any doubt. Everything of God is fitting perfectly in my life. I am enjoying doing His will, demonstrating the Spirit's power, living the Word, praying the Word, speaking the Word of God, doing Christ centred counseling, etc.  It's a new dawn in my life. Prayers are being answered. Miracles are taking place. I am now very confident in doing this ministry that God has committed into my hands. Praise you Jesus.
The God whom we serve, does not only give us power to work out miracles, have wisdom & revelation, He gives us strategies as well. Our Gospel is a Gospel of peace. God is love. If we preach the Word in love & and promote peace with all men, who can close the door to you? Who can be your enemy for operating in that manner? No one. The doors which many thought they would never be opened to the Gospel, God will open them to us. Watch & see God doing it. If we are true to God & live the Word as Christians, pray the Word, preach the Word, speak the Word, & abide in the Word, no one will be threatened by your Gospel. Even demons will fear you & announce you to the people, giving you an advantage. Everyone will be comfortable with your Gospel message because it is well packaged; it is based on love, forgiveness & peace. Who doesn't like that? Here you are. Let us not create enemies, we weaken our Gospel. Let us create friends & we will reach out to places ...
Therefore Jesus said again: I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. (John 10:7). In the sheep pen, the shepherd functioned as a gate, letting the sheep in & protecting them. Jesus is the gate to God's salvation for us. He offers access to safety & security. Christ is our protector. He gives us maximum protection & security. He keeps us where satan cannot touch us. If you are saved & stay connected to God, you are safe. You will enjoy this maximum protection & security I am talking about. The only way you can lose it, is if you yourself allow satan to gain entry into your life. The Lord will respect your personal will. Otherwise, we are protected & secured by the blood of Jesus & the fire of the Holy Spirit. Some people resent that Jesus is the gate, the only way of access to God. But Jesus is God's Son - why should we seek any other way or want to customize a different approach to God? The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of po...
Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection & the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; & whoever lives & believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this? Yes Lord, she told Him: I believe you are the Christ, the Son of God who was to come into the world. (John 11:25-27). Jesus has power over life & death as well as power to forgive sins. This is because He is the Creator of life. ( see John 14:6). He who is life can surely restore life. Whoever believes in Christ  has a spiritual life that death cannot conquer or diminish in any way. When we realize His power & how wonderful His offer to us really is, how can we help but commit our lives to Him. To those of us who believe, what wonderful assurance  & certainty we have: Because I live, you will also live. (see John 14:19). Martha is best known for being too busy to sit down & talk with Jesus. (see Luke 10:38-42). But here we see her as a woman of deep faith. Her statement...
My ministry training over decades of years was kept a secret by God Almighty.  The final order of the ministries that He has committed into my hands was also kept as a secret. That which the Lord kept as a secret over the years has now been made public. It's now His time for me to do my God ordained assignment. It's now time for the miracles, the answered prayers, & the flow of His power, wisdom & revelation  in & through my life. The best is yet to come. Praise the Lord.
But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself. He said this to show the kind of death He was to die. The crowd spoke up: We have heard from the Law that the Christ will remain forever, so how can you say: The Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man? Then Jesus told them: You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. The man who walks in the dark does not know where he is going. Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light. When He had finished speaking, Jesus left & hid himself from them. (John 12:32-36). Jesus said He would be with them in person for only a short time, & that they should take advantage of His presence while they had it. Like a light shining in a dark place, He would point out the way they should walk. If they walked in His light, they would become sons of light, revealing the truth & pointing people t...
A new commandment I give you: As I have loved you, you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another. (John 13: 34-35). Love is the MISSING ingredient in today's church. Jesus says that our Christlike love will show we are His disciples.  Love is the central message of Christianity. We must love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God & knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. The God whom we serve, the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, the God of the Bible, our Creator, the Most High God, is LOVE. If this God is truly our God, if Jesus is truly Lord & Saviour of our lives, we will love God wholeheartedly & others sincerely & deeply. The Bible says: Do everything in love. I repeat: Everything that we do, we must do in love. We must love our enemies; love the unlovable, & love one another. If we are failing on the this issue of love, we h...
Prayer: Father, as I begin the stewardship that you have entrusted to me, I forgive all those who have got me bruised, intentionally or not, all those who were being used by the devil to stop or delay the process: I forgive them all. I declare in the name of Jesus Christ: You are free in Jesus name. You are forgiven. Do not condemn yourself. I love you. Amen.
If you love Me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, & He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - the Spirit of truth. (John 14:15-17). Jesus was soon going to leave the disciples, but He would remain with them. How could this be? The Counselor  - the Spirit of God Himself - would come after Jesus was gone to care for & guide the disciples. The regenerating power of the Holy Spirit was poured out on all the believers at Pentecost, shortly after Jesus ascended to Heaven. The Holy Spirit is the very presence of God within us & all the believers, helping us live as God wants & building Christ's church. He is God in action. Wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. People are set free. When He comes on us, we will receive power to witness the resurrection of Jesus Christ to the remotest parts of the earth; power to heal, power to deliver, power to work out miracles in the name of Jesus Christ. We will not fear satan...
If you remain in Me & my words remain in you, ASK whatever you wish, & it will be given you. (John 15:7). This verse shows us that prayer & the Word of God goes hand in hand. The two are inseparable. What is prayer? It is talking to God. It is a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. What do we pray? God wants us to pray His will. Where do we find His will? His will is recorded in the Bible, the Word of God. To know the will of God for a given situation, we need to be having a Bible reading & meditation culture. Hear the Word, read it, study it, meditate on it, hide it in your heart & apply it to your life daily. If you do not study it devotionally, you will not know much about about the will of God. How do we read the Word of God? We read it devotionally, ie, with prayer. You ask the Lord to open your mind to understand the Scriptures. (Luke 24:45). If the Holy Spirit is not involved in your reading or study, you will not understand the Bible, you will no...
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. (John 16:33). What an awesome promise. Jesus summed up all He had told them this night, tying together themes from John 14:27-29, John 16:1-4 & John 16:9-11. With these words, He told His disciples to take courage. In spite of the inevitable struggles they would face, they would not be alone. Jesus does not abandon us to our struggles either. He knows no failure.  He knows no defeat. He changes not. If we allow Him to be truly Lord & Saviour of our lives, we will always win; we will always thrive in the face of opposition. If we remember that the ultimate victory has already been won, we can claim the peace of Christ in the most troublesome times. We will have peace & joy in the midst of storms. His grace will always prove to be sufficient for us. Jesus said: Take heart! I have overcome the world. What did He meant by maki...
I have given them the glory that you gave Me, that they may be one as we are One. (John 17:22). Jesus' great desire for His disciples was that they would become one. He wanted them unified as a powerful witness to the reality of God's love. Unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace has always been key in the mind of Christ. Why peace? Because our Gospel is a Gospel of peace. God wants us to be peacemakers who sow the Gospel in peace & raise the fruit of righteousness.  Jesus Christ is the Prince of peace. Peacemakers are called sons of God. In the early church, there was unity in the Body of Christ. The churches were spiritual entities & not legal entities. The apostles provided oversight for the churches. Their set up was as follows: Church at Antioch; Church in Ephesus; Church at Corinth. Meaning: A group of believers meeting at Antioch; in Ephesus; at Corinth. This is how it was from the beginning.  As time went by, we changed the set up from spiritual entities...
As Simon Peter stood warming himself, he was asked: You are not one of His disciples are you? He denied it saying: I am not. One of the high priest's servant, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, challenged him: Didn't I see you with Him in the olive grove? Again Peter denied it, & at the moment a rooster began to crow. ( John  18:25-27). Imagine standing outside while Jesus, your Lord & Master is questioned. Imagine watching this man, whom you have come to believe is the long-awaited Messiah, being abused & beaten. Naturally, Peter was confused & afraid. It is a serious sin to disown Christ but Jesus forgave Peter. (see John 21:15-17). No sin is too great for Jesus to forgive if you are truly repentant. He will forgive even your worst sin if you turn from it & ask His pardon. He did it with Peter, He will do it with you, if are truly repentant. By way of testimony, I had serious character flaws, had an I don't care attitude & could sp...
As soon as the chief priests & their officials saw Him, they shouted: Crucify! Crucify. But Pilate answered: You take Him & crucify Him. As for me, I find no basis for a charge against Him. They insisted: We have a law, & according to that law He must die, because He claimed to be the Son of God. (John 19:6-7). The truth finally came out - the religious leaders had not brought Jesus to Pilate because He was causing rebellion against Rome, but because they thought He had broken their religious laws. Jesus had claimed that He was the Son of God, & they were threatened by that. Blasphemy, one of the most serious crimes in Jewish law, deserved death penalty. Accusing Jesus of blasphemy would give credibility to their case in the eyes of the Jews; accusing Jesus of treason would give credibility to their case in the eyes of the Romans. They didn't care which accusation Pilate listened to, as long as he would cooperate with them in killing Jesus. Pilate did not find a ba...
They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead. (John 20:9). As further proof that the disciples did not fabricate this story, we find that Peter & John were surprised that Jesus was not in the tomb. When John saw the grave clothes, he believed that Jesus had risen. It wasn't until after they had seen the empty tomb that they remembered what the Scriptures & Jesus had said - He would die, but He would also rise again. Jesus' resurrection is key to the Christian faith. Why? 1). Just as He said, Jesus rose from the dead. We can be confident therefore, that He will accomplish all He has promised. 2). Jesus' bodily resurrection shows us that the living Christ, not a false prophet or imposter, is ruler of God's Kingdom. 3). We can be certain of our own resurrection  because He was resurrected.  Death is not the end - there is a future life. 4). The divine power that brought Jesus back to life is now available to us  to bring our...
Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. (John 21:25). This Scripture shows us that the Bible contains a sample of things that Jesus did in His earthly ministry. In real terms, He did many other things which were not documented. He was not short of testimonies. The Bible could not contain everything, only a sample was incorporated. This shows that Jesus was fully God & fully human. No one without God could accomplish that level of testimonies & grace.  He is the true Son of God. This is why God raised Him from the dead. His record was indescribable, incomparable & next to none. Jesus, despite having such a great testimony, He did not limit us to what He did. No, He didn't do that. In John 14:12 He said: I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am...
But you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes on you; & you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, & in all Judea & Samaria, & to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8). Before the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit, they were full of fear; they were confined to an upper room, praying. But when the Holy Spirit came upon their lives, they received POWER to WITNESS the resurrection of Jesus Christ & became bold, courageous, confident, received insight, ability & authority. The disciples would need all these gifts to fulfil their mission. The sign of being filled by the Holy Spirit is not speaking in tongues only. When one is filled by the Holy Spirit, he will begin to preach the Gospel to all creation. He will begin to make disciples of all nations; growing them in the Word of God. We will not be confined to our church buildings only, we will influence the world more for Jesus. They will be more of the church in the world. We will not fear men or satan...
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from Heaven & filled the whole house where they were sitting.  They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated & came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit & began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (Acts 2:1-4). This is a very touching sermon, let me pray so that the Holy Spirit will help me to bring clarity & balance. Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, guide my words so that I do not end up judging people. My role is to reconcile people back to God & not to judge them. So help me God. In Jesus name we pray, Amen. When the early church were filled by the Holy Spirit, they spoke in tongues. These were languages & not mere babbling of words or sounds, as is the case in some of our churches. God fearing Jews from every nation, each one heard them speaking in his own language ...
So the man gave him his attention, expecting to get something from them. Then Peter said: Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk. (Acts 3:5-6). The crippled man asked for money, but Peter gave him something better - the use of his legs. We often ask God to solve a small problem, but he wants to give us a whole new life & help for all our problems.  When we ask God for help, He may say:  I have got something even better for you. Ask God for what you want, but don't be surprised when He gives you what you really need. Peter & John had no money to give the crippled man, but they had Jesus. They had the gifts of healing, the gift of faith & the gift of working out miracles. So they gave out what God had given them & the crippled man was healed instantly.  The man's feet & ankles became strong, & he jumped to his feet & began to walk. God was glorified. Many people received salva...
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12). Many people react negatively to the fact that there is no other name than that of Jesus to call on for salvation. Yet this is not something the church decided; it is the specific teaching of Jesus Himself. In John 14:6, He said: I am the way & the truth & the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. God designated Jesus to be the Savior of the world, so no one can be His equal. All the founders of religion are dead. Their bones are still in their graves. But God raised Jesus from the dead. His tomb is empty. He is alive. By the name of Jesus Christ who was crucified for our sins, but whom God raised from the dead, people  are being saved, healed, delivered, blessed, given maximum protection & security, receiving supernatural provision, etc. Hearts are being touched & lives are being changed to be like Christ. We are now liv...
Prayer: Father, I pray for all ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Bless them, their families & ministries. Give them the grace to remain committed to the Christian faith. Help them to abide in your Word. Help them to be loving, forgiving, humble, faithful & Word based. Help them to be good spiritual models whom the flock can emulate & learn something from their character. Give them good health, long life full of blessings, more wisdom & revelation. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. * On a personal note: I affirm my love for all the ministers of the Gospel. I give them honor, respect, & speak a blessing upon their lives, families & ministries. By faith in Jesus Christ, i speak into existence: increase, turnaround, & favor upon their lives. Grace & peace be with you.
As a result, people brought the sick into the streets & laid them on beds & mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick & those tormented by evil spirits, & all of them were healed. (Acts 5:15-16). All the gifts of the Spirit are in singular form except the gifts of healing. This is the only one which is in plural. It is mentioned as gifts of healing & not gift of healing. Meaning that God heals in many diverse ways. Jesus used the dialogue method, Peter's shadow healed the sick, some use the bind & loose technique, others lay hands on you, others pray, anointing you with olive oil, etc. All these are different methods in which we can administer divine healing. Sometimes God starts a new thing with you. Something that He has never done before. He can do something that no eye has seen, no ear has heard. Do not limit what God can do to you & ...
