Church, it is not Scriptural to restrict the qualification to be filled by the Holy Spirit to a day, ie, Pentecost Sunday. If God wills to do it on that day ,its okay. God does not fill us with the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday only. He fills us daily. As for me i ask Him to fill me with the Holy Spirit daily. Rather, let us link the process to salvation; to a repentant heart, to accepting the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our lives. This is what is Scriptural. Just to bring clarity & balance & edify the Church. I have said it in love & out of good faith. God bless you all.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy.
