A new commandment I give you: As I have loved you, you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another. (John 13: 34-35). Love is the MISSING ingredient in today's church. Jesus says that our Christlike love will show we are His disciples.  Love is the central message of Christianity. We must love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God & knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. The God whom we serve, the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, the God of the Bible, our Creator, the Most High God, is LOVE. If this God is truly our God, if Jesus is truly Lord & Saviour of our lives, we will love God wholeheartedly & others sincerely & deeply. The Bible says: Do everything in love. I repeat: Everything that we do, we must do in love. We must love our enemies; love the unlovable, & love one another. If we are failing on the this issue of love, we have missed the mark. A contrary spirit will be in operation in our lives & not the Holy Spirit. Note that they are religious spirits & these come from the kingdom of darkness. Such spirits could be in control of your life if you are unloving. The Bible says: God wants our faith to work through love. Jesus gave us the greatest commandments which fulfils the law & the prophets. Under normal circumstances, these two love commands are supposed to POWER the Great Commission, ie, preaching the Gospel in all the world & making disciples of all nations. The two greatest love commands are: Loving God wholeheartedly & loving others deeply, or loving our neighbors as ourselves. These two love commands are the greatest commandments & they summarize the law & the prophets. The first four commands of the Ten commandments relate to our relationship with God. In this context it refers to loving God wholeheartedly. The last six commands of the Ten Commandments relate to our relationship with one another. In this context it refers to loving your neighbor as yourself. If you love your neighbor you will not steal from him or kill him, etc. Christianity revolves around these two commands, loving God wholeheartedly & loving your neighbor as yourself. The Bible says: If we speak in the tongues of men & of angels but have not love, we are like a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If we have the gift of prophecy & can fathom all mysteries & all knowledge, but have not love, we are nothing. If we have faith that can move mountains but have not love, we are nothing. If we give all we possess to the poor & surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, we gain nothing. Our faith must work through love. Love is the greatest of all the commands of God. Let Christ's love control us as Christ's church. Let God's love bind us together. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, I  have observed that love is the missing ingredient in today's church. I pray for this situation in the name of Jesus Christ. I rebuke all contrary spirits peddling fake love in your church & among your people.  I come against these evil spirits in the name of Jesus Christ. You spirit, you spirit, release your hold on God's people in Jesus name. I set God's people free & free indeed in Jesus name. I declare in the name of Jesus Christ:  You are free. You are delivered. I pray that you fill us as your church with love, peace & joy. Give us the grace to love our enemies & to pray for their salvation & deliverance. Give us the grace to love the unlovable, to love one another & each other deeply. Help us to forgive from the heart. Your Word says that love covers over a multitude of sins. Help us to have genuine love for you & others. This way, we will forgive easily, even instantly & from the heart. Cultivate the love of God into our lives. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. As we have prayed, assign your angels to minister to our salvation & deliverance needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen.  They have greatly oppressed me from my youth - let Israel say - they have greatly oppressed me from my youth but they have not gained victory over me. (Psalm 129:1-2). No weapons formed against me shall prosper. The devil has been fighting me from my youth. He for years struck me with terrible & terminal sicknesses, but God healed me.
