The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, & speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from Heaven is above all. He testifies to what he has seen & heard, but no one accepts his testimony. The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. The Father loves the Son & has placed everything in His hands. (John 3:31-35). Jesus' testimony was trustworthy because He had come from Heaven & was speaking of what He had seen there. His words were the very words of God. We also can speak the very words of God because we are followers of Christ. God has enabled me to speak the language of the Bible, He can do the same with you, if you are willing & obedient. Your whole spiritual life depends on your answer to one question: Who is Jesus Christ? If you accept Jesus as only a prophet or teacher, you have to reject His teaching, for He claimed to be God's Son, even God Himself. He was fully human & fully God. This is a mystery of God. You cannot understand it from outside; you have to convert to Christ first, & as you grow spiritually, all things  will begin to make sense to you. Some theologians talks of contradictions in the Bible. I beg to differ. The Word of God is infallible, meaning it is without error. To understand the Scriptures, you have to be a growing Christian, who is filled with the Holy Spirit & avail yourself to be led by Him. The Holy Spirit opens our minds to understand the Scriptures. (see Luke 24:45). The Holy Spirit is the real author of the Bible, so He knows it well. He uses the Word of God to transform our lives & renew our minds. If we refuse to heed to the authority of the Bible, your life will not change to be Christlike or godly; your mind will not be renewed to think godly thoughts, your language will not change to align with the very words of God. You will speak from an OFFSIDE position. Note that the one who has been sent by God, speaks the words of God. He speaks the language of the Bible. His righteous life gives his words greater impact. He has the nature or DNA of God. When he speaks, things happen, there is greater impact. When He prays, all his prayers are answered. They are answered speedily.  When he preaches just a simple message & within a few minutes, hearts are touched & lives are changed, etc, etc. The heartbeat of John's Gospel is the dynamic truth that Jesus Christ is God's Son, the Messiah, the Saviour, who was from the beginning  & will continue to live forever.  He is the Prince of peace, the Bright Morning Star, the root & offspring of David, Lord of life & Lord of all. This same Jesus has invited us to accept Him & live with Him eternally. When we understand who Jesus is, we are compelled to believe what He said. God's Spirit was upon Jesus without limit or measure. Thus, Jesus is the highest revelation of God to humanity. (see Hebrews 1:2). Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit.  Prayer: Thank you Jesus for this new month of June 2023. Bless us in this month. Favor us as your church. Cause us to operate under an open Heaven. Give us a revelation of who truly You are. Many people believe that there is God but we differ on the way to God. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God & that no one comes to the Father except through Him. Help us to live the Word, pray Your will, speak the Word & abide in the Word. Let people see our holy lives & be influenced to follow us as we follow the example of Jesus Christ. Perform extraordinary miracles by our hands, as PROOF that we are followers of Jesus Christ who is God's Son. Let Jesus increase in our lives. Let your glory increase in our lives. Let self reduce. Fill us with your Holy Spirit. We acknowledge Him as God in action. Let our ministries or your church worldwide be characterized by power, wisdom, revelation & overflow.  I know they will see your hand & convert to Christ. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer.  Despatch the angelic host. Let them minister to our salvation, healing, deliverance & blessing needs.
