Elder at Prayer Ministry.

 The disciples, each according to His ability, decided to provide help for the brothers living in Judea. This they did, sending their gift to the elders by Barnabas & Saul. (Acts 11:29-30). The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch. The people of Antioch were motivated to give generously because they cared about the needs of others. This is cheerful giving that the Bible commends. (2 Corinthians 9:7). Reluctant giving reflects a lack of concern for people. Focus your concern on the needy, & you will be motivated to give. Elders were appointed to manage the affairs of the congregation. The disciples were the best version of themselves & they made greater impact among the people. People converted to Christ. The congregation at Antioch grew in numbers & in matters of giving. They gave not to members of their own congregation only but to the brothers living in Judea.  Peter knocked at the outer entrance, & the servant girl named Rhoda came to answer the door. When she recognized Peter's voice, she was so overjoyed that she ran back without opening it & exclaimed: Peter is at the door. You are out of your mind, they told her. When she kept insisting that it was so, they said: It must be his angel. (Acts 12:13-15). The prayers of the group of believers were answered, even as they prayed. But when the answer arrived at the door, they didn't believe it. We should be people of faith who believe that God answers the prayers of those who seek His will. And He answers such prayers speedily & miraculously. When you pray, believe you will get the answer. And when the answer comes, don't be surprised; be thankful. The answer may not come while you are still praying like what happened in this case, in such circumstances, wait patiently & expectantly in the attitude of faith, obedience & true worship & praise.  Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus, the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through Him, everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified  from by the law of Moses. (Acts 13:38-39). This is the Good News that forgiveness of sins & freedom from guilt are available to all the people through faith in Jesus Christ. This includes you. Have you received this forgiveness? Are you refreshed by it each day? If not, I urge you to get connected to God through Jesus Christ by faith & stay connected. Faith connects us to God. Faith pleases God. The Kingdom of God operates on the basis of faith. Without faith we cannot receive anything from God. Faith must be confessed & faith must be lived by. We believe the Word & then speak it. When you speak it, God will confirm it in your life or in the situation. Your faith can only go as high as the level of your confession. God wants us to have the kind of faith that work...

 Do not judge people, they have been judged more than enough. They are sick & sick & tired of being judged. We need to encourage them, comfort them, strengthen them & heal them. They are expecting a message like that, a message which gives them hope for a better life or future. That hope is in Jesus Christ. Christ in us is the hope of glory. If you  preach Jesus & not yourself or your denominational church, people will convert to Christ. Jesus is the Solution or Answer to all our problems. Prayer: Father, help us to be the channel by which people will receive salvation, healing, deliverance & blessing. Make us a carrier of God's presence, God's glory & God's blessings.  Ministry: God is  STRENGTHENING our lives & churches to operate strictly in accordance with His Word. The Word of God is our standard. We will not go astray if we submit 100% to it. The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to transform our lives & to renew our minds. So we are not alone in the CHANGING & STRENGTHENING process. We have God, the Holy Spirit, who is our Helper.  He will make us UNITED & FUNCTIONAL as the Body of Christ. I believe wholeheartedly, without the slightest doubt in Jesus name.  They preached the Good News in that city & won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium & Antioch, strengthening the disciples & encouraging them to remain true to the faith. We must go through many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God, they said. (Acts 14:21-22). Paul & Barnabas returned to visit the believers in all the cities where they had recently been threatened & physically attacked. These men knew the dangers they faced, yet they believed that they had a responsibility to encourage the new believers. They considered their lives as worth nothing for the sake of finishing the task that God had given them, the task to testify of the grace of God; the task to  preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. No matter how inconvenient or uncomfortable the task may seem, we must always support new believers. Why? They need our help & encouragement.  Simple Gospel, simple Word based teachings, simple prayers & fastings, simple Christian living manifesting faith, love, character & humility widely, is the way to go. Character comes through perseverance & obeying God & His Word in total. Do not complicate Christianity.  Do not ACT Christianity.  Do not burden people because God doesn't burden us.  It seemed good to the Holy Spirit & to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from meat of strangled animals & from sexual immorality.  You will do well to avoid these things. Farewell. (Acts 15:28-29). The above is the judgement made by the apostles, elders & the church council to accommodate the Gentiles who were turning to God. They agreed not to make it difficult for them & make them do that which is good to the Holy Spirit & to them. So they wrote a letter telling them to abstain from food  polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from meat of strangled animals & from blood. This was starting point for them.  Church, let us not go the way of raising our emotions in corporate worship. Note that I am talking about corporate worship & not praise. What is the difference? Praise makes us go high up there: dancing before the Lord, making a joyful noise, lifting holy hands, shouting praises to God, extol & glorify God, etc. You will experience a breaking of all generational curses, & varying oppressions in the process. It sets us free indeed &  prepares us for worship. As a spiritual weapon of mass destruction, it is associated with a lot of emotions.  However, worship makes us go down at His footstool. That is the position where God speaks to us. We will not hear from God if we do not control our emotions. The Holy Spirit is GENTLE, that is the reason why He was given the symbol of a dove. A dove is a gentle bird. We need to be still in order to hear His still voice. We need to be still in order to worship Him at His footstool, to lie flat down, prostrate in His pre...

 Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. This girl followed Paul & the rest of us, shouting: These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling the way to be saved. She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around & said to the spirit: In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to come out of her. At that moment the spirit left her. (Acts 16:16-18). What the slave girl said was true, although the source of her knowledge was a demon. Demons know whether you are a true Christian or not. Demons know whether you have surpassing power or not. Why did the demon announce the truth about Paul & why did this annoy Paul? If Paul had accepted the demon's words, he would appear to be linking the Gospel with demon related activities.  Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness & examined the Scriptures everyday  to see if what Paul said was true. (Acts 17:11). How do you evaluate sermons & teachings? The people in Berea opened the Scriptures  for themselves & searched for truths to verify or disprove the message they heard. Always compare what you hear with what the Bible says. A preacher or teacher who gives God's true message will never contradict or explain away anything that is found in the Word of God. I post devotional messages daily on this platform. Do not take them at face value. Search the Scriptures daily to find out if what I am teaching is true. If it is true, put it into practice. Note that the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit  without limit. If the message delivered is not consistent with the Word of God, then it is not from God.  Prayer of faith is received now, today. Biblical faith is now faith. It believes now & receives now. When you pray, believe that you have received & it shall be granted you. Meaning, once you believe you have received in the spiritual sense, the physical manifestation will come, you are assured of it. Spiritual victory or breakthrough comes first, followed by natural manifestations. We only need to wait patiently & expectantly. When you pray for healing, believe that you are healed & the physical healing will manifest. What comes first is believing that you have received, followed by speaking what you believe as recorded in the Word of God, then the physical manifestation will come. It's not: you shall be healed, referring to some future date. It's you are healed, referring to now or today. It's not: you shall receive referring to some future date. Its you have received, always relating to now, today, the present tense. It's by not by sight, senses, fee...

 Many of those who believed now came & openly confessed  their evil deeds. A number who had  practiced sorcery  brought their scrolls together & burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. (Acts 19:18-19). Ephesus was a center for black magic & other occult practices. The people used magical formulas to give them wealth, happiness & success in marriage.  Superstition & sorcery were common place. God clearly forbids such practices. You cannot be a Christian & hold on to the occult, black magic or sorcery.  Such practices are powered by satan, he is the source of that power & wealth. But the good news is: God's power is even greater. Jesus in us is greater than satan in the world.  When they arrived, he said to them: You know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I came into the province of Asia. I served the Lord with great humility & with tears, although I was severely tested by the plots of the Jews. You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly & from house to house. I have declared to both Jews & Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance & have faith in our Lord Jesus. (Acts 20:18-21). The way of a Christian is not an easy road; being a Christian does not remove or solve all problems.  Paul served humbly & with tears, but he never quit; he never gave up. The message of salvation was so important to him that he never missed an opportunity to share it.  Holiness, love, forgiving heart, humility, faith, a broken & contrite or repentant heart, a gentle & quiet spirit, etc, are very important virtues every Christian should work hard to have. With these qualities, you become very effective in ministry. The power of God will manifest in & through your life in an increasing measure. His glory will increase upon your life. You will have a very strong anointing. Your prayers will be powerful & effective. Prayer will become your life, & your life a prayer. Your spiritual, motivational & ministry gifts will work at a very high level. They will be backed by character & holiness & thus, become indescribable in effectiveness. You will become a servant, very simple, approachable, & never a boss. You will not have prideful behavior. You will regard other people  better than yourself. You will be well positioned for Heaven.  Believe the Word & speak it in day to day conversation.  If you do not speak the Word, nothing will happen. Why? Faith must be confessed. God bless you all.

 Your righteous life gives your words greater impact. When you pray, there is impact. When you speak, there is impact. When you issue a decree it will be established. What you say will be done.  Shouting: Men of Israel help us. This is the men who teaches all men everywhere against our people & our law & this place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple area & defiled this holy place. (Acts 21:28). The Jews knew how Paul's work had been in Asia.This strategy  was to discredit Paul so that his work would be weakened. Be alert when you hear accusations  against God's workers. Someone may be trying to discredit them or hinder their work. He or she will just be jealousy because we are doing better than themselves, impacting on the people for Jesus; doing things for God which they themselves have failed to do.  The name of Jesus has power. Stay connected to God through Christ & He will come through for you when you call upon His name. All powers in Heaven & on earth bow at that name. You will receive salvation, healing, deliverance, blessing, protection & security, when you call upon that name; when you invite Jesus onto the scene. He comes through for those who are His.  I have heard this saying: Send back to sender from both ministers & the flock. I have heard it many times. Where is this coming from? The Bible does not support that. Religion does. The Bible says: Do not take revenge.  ... Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord. It's the Lord's.  Let us not take the matters into our hands. Let God handle the situation in His own way & in His own time. Our role is to forgive, restore & reconcile.  The Lord our God is not a God of love only, He is also a consuming fire. His fire has been released in the church to consume everything in our lives that He did not plant.  The Lord has enabled us as His Church to demonstrate the Spirit's power in the event of a challenge. The Holy Spirit is not a spirit of fear, but of love, power, & a sound mind or self discipline.  The Bible says: The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. Power & wisdom belongs to our God. Live as royal & speak with AUTHORITY.  Demonstrate the Spirit's power like what Elijah did with the prophets of Baal.  The next day, since the commander wanted to find out exactly why Paul was being accused by the Jews, he released him & ordered the chief priests & all the Sanhedrin to assemble. Then he brought Paul & had him stand before them. (Acts 22:30). Paul used his times of persecution as an opportunity to witness Jesus Christ. His enemies by persecuting him, they were creating a platform for him to address the entire Sanhedrin. If we are sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading, we will see increased opportunities to share our faith, even in the face of opposition. Thank you Jesus.  Then he called two of his centurion & ordered them: Get ready a detachment of two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen & two hundred spearmen to go to Ceasaria at nine tonight. Provide mounts for Paul so that he may be taken safely to Govenor Felix. (Acts 23:23-24). The Roman commander ordered Paul sent to Ceasaria. God works in amazing & amusing ways. They were infinite possibilities of ways God could use to get Paul to Ceasaria, but He chose to use the Roman army to deliver Paul from his enemies. God's ways are not our ways. Our ways are limited; His ways are not. God proved in this case that He gives us maximum protection & security as His children & servants. The security He gives us, no head of state the world over enjoys such security.  As Paul discourses on righteousness,  self control & judgement to come, Felix was too afraid & said: That's enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you. (Acts 24:25). Paul's talk with Felix became so personal  that Felix grew fearful. Paul's words were interesting until they focused on righteousness, self control & judgement to come. Many people will be glad to discuss the Gospel with you as long as it doesn't touch their lives too personally.  When it does, some will resist or run. But this is what the Gospel is all about - God's power to change lives. Christianity is all about a changed life. Anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour of his life genuinely, his life will change. His focus in life, attitude, motives will change to be godly.  If however, I am guilty of doing anything deserving death, I do not refuse to die. But if the charges brought against me by these Jews are not true, no one has the right to hand me over to them. I appeal to Ceasar, (Romans 25:11). Paul knew that he was innocent of the charges laid against him & could appeal to Ceasar's judgement. He knew his rights as Roman citizen & as an innocent person. Paul had met his responsibilities as a Roman, & so he had the opportunity  to claim Rome's protection. God was with him all the way & the favor of God surrounded him even in chains.  Then Agrippa said to Paul: Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian? Paul replied: Short time or long - I pray God that not only you, but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains. (Acts 26:28-29). Paul's heart is revealed here in his words: he was more concerned for the salvation  of these strangers than for the removal of his own chains. He was more concerned about following the will of God at all times. He was more concerned about winning souls for God at all costs. He could take any assignment from God, risky or not. His life did not matter to him. What mattered to him was to finish the task God gave him - the task to to testify of the grace of God. Ask God to give you a burning desire to see others come to Christ, to have a desire that is  so strong that it overshadows your problems. God has given us a primary assignment as Christians.  If our prayers, decrees, & spiritual gifts are backed up by faith & character, they will move mountains, part the Red sea, break generational curses, reverse the irreversible, change the unchangeable, & make the impossible, possible. Character is key. Your righteous life gives your words greater impact. If you live righteously, you will always register victories & successes. Prosperity, favor & breakthrough will be your portion.  I pray for a few or some today. I decree in the name of Jesus Christ: The anointing of God upon your life will never run dry. Infact God will increase it to overflowing & fearful levels.  After the men had gone a long time without food, Paul stood up before them & said: Men you should have taken my advice not to sail from Crete; then you would have spared yourselves this damage & loss. (Acts 27:21). Why would Paul, a prisoner, & under guard, talk to the crew this way? Paul was NOT taunting them with an I TOLD YOU SO attitude, but was reminding them that, with God's guidance, he had predicted this very problem. He had said: Men, I can see that our voyage is going to be disastrous & bring great loss to ship & cargo, & to our lives also. (see Acts 27:10). The crew ignored or disregarded his advice & suffered consequences of their actions. In future, the crew listened to Paul & their lives were spared because of his revelation. (see Acts 27:30-32).  Prayer: Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, I assure you that I will always follow your promptings. I thank you for making me keep on rising. Thank you for the upgrades. Thank you for making  the servant prophets to prophesy April as my breakthrough month. Sure, I am seeing the major changes that are taking place in my life & ministry. I give you all the praise & glory. The prophecies are proving to be true. Thank you Father for giving me a very strong anointing.  When you are at peace with God, enemies will become  friends. They will be at peace with you. Many people would like to hear what you have to say. They will be interested in you. You will enjoy peace on all sides. This is a sign that the favor of God is upon your life. It's a sign that His glory is increasing upon your life. God bless you all.

 They replied: We have not received any letters from Judea concerning you, & none of the brothers who have come from there has reported or said anything bad about you. But we want to hear what your views are, for we know that people everywhere are talking against this sect. (Acts 28:21-22). Christians were denounced everywhere by the Romans because they were seen as a threat to the Roman establishment. We believe in one God, who is our Creator & the Most High God. We believe in the Godhead or Trinity. Whereas the Romans had many little gods, including Ceasar. The Christians were committed to an authority higher than Ceasar. Paul preached at Rome under guard. Christianity is not all rosy.  When you pray in faith & in accordance with the will of God, you are seeding. Harvest time will come. You will raise  a harvest of righteousness if you have been praying for the church & its revival. The Kingdom of God will enter into the hearts of many people,  if you have been praying for salvation of souls. Healings, deliverances & extraordinary miracles will take place if you have been praying for healing of people from satanic oppression. Christians will enjoy divine health. Your prayers will be answered. Light will shine in your paths. What you decide upon will be done. Keep praying. Keep believing.  Breakthrough will come. You will be surrounded with the favour of God.  I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong. (Romans 1:11). Paul prayed for the chance to visit these Christians so that he could encourage them with his gift of faith & be encouraged by theirs. He wanted to impart his spiritual gift to make them strong Christians. Impartation is key in Christianity. God's missionaries can impart spiritual gifts through laying on of hands. As God's missionary, he could help them understand the meaning of the Good News about Jesus Christ. As God's devoted people, they could offer him fellowship & comfort. When Christians gather, everyone should give & receive.  Everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, or a revelation, or a tongue or an interpretation.  Testimony: I would like to thank the Lord for making me a wonder, a valuable & impactful member of the Body of Christ. I never went to any Bible College or ministry training institution. But the Lord has made me a moving Bible sort of. It's not by my might or power. It's by the Spirit of the living God. I am what I am by the grace of God. It's not me per se but the grace of God with me. God has also healed me & given me divine health in addition. I owe it all to Jesus Christ. He is the author & finisher of my faith. I do not struggle to do these write ups. The Spirit of wisdom & revelation always takes effect or control. Making these write ups is as simple as breathing.  Performing miracles is as easy as breathing. God performs extraordinary miracles daily by my hands. He answers my prayers & guides my words.  When we give to God, He will multiply back to us what we have given. The rate at which He may multiply  back to the giver is way above what the world can give in the business world. The Bible talks of reaping 30 times, 60 times or a 100 times what was sown in a broader sense. We can borrow a principle here & apply it to sowing & reaping of anything that pertains to us as children of God. The Scripture also confirms that God gives us MORE than what we can think or imagine or expect. What He returns to us is more than what the world can offer. It also means that there is no loss when you give to God as what some may think. He always gives us more than what we have sown. He is a God of MULTIPLICATION. Take matters of giving as sowing a seed. It's like you're sowing a seed of love, kindness, investing your life in the life of another, etc, etc. What you sow, you will reap. You will not reap in quantity terms exactly what you have sown; no, you will reap in MULTIPLICATION....

 A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outwardly & physical.  No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; & circumcision is circumcision of the HEART, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God. (Romans 2:28-29). To be a Jew meant you were in God's family, an heir to all His promises. Yet Paul made it clear that membership in God's family is based on internal, & not external qualities. All whose hearts are right with God are real Jews - that is, part of God's family, (see Galatians 3:7). Attending church or being baptized, confirmed or accepted for membership is not enough, just as submitting to circumcision was not enough for the Jews. God desires our heartfelt devotion & obedience.  God has sealed us with the resurrection power. That power  is aleady working in us. It has been increased in the lives of some. On a more general note, our lives have been upgraded. Power belongs to the Lord our God. Use that power to witness Jesus Christ to the world. Draw men unto Christ. As you testify of the whole grace of God, the Holy Spirit will work with you. He will convict people in regards to sin, righteousness & judgement, & people will receive you & your Gospel. Pray for them & with them. There will be a demonstration of the Spirit's power in a greater dimension. The power of God will raise the dead, open up blind eyes, open deaf ears; the lame will walk, weak bones will be strengthened, demons will be casted out, etc. Healing & deliverance will place through you. Real power & not magic belongs to our God. God bless you all.

 Prayer is not time bound. When i pray i believe, i do not doubt at some stage. I keep believing. I decree in the name of Jesus Christ: Your harvest will come. Whatever you have prayed for in faith & in accordance with His will, God has answered the requests or prayer points made. Prayer does not expire. So, you can visit the prayers that we have made on this platform, they still work for you, the church worldwide, families, nations, etc, & i still believe for what i prayed for to happen. Never, never, never will i doubt. God will act upon them because they are an act of faith. Whatever is done by faith in Jesus Christ, He honors it & will continue to do so. Faith connects us to God.  Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith. For we maintain  that a man is justified  by faith apart from observing the law. (Romans 3:27-28). Most religions prescribe duties that must be performed to make a person  acceptable to God. Christianity is UNIQUE in teaching that the good deeds we do will not make us right with God. No amount of human achievement or progress in personal development will close the gap  between God's moral perfection & our imperfect daily performance. Good deeds are important, but they alone will not earn us eternal life. We need faith in Jesus Christ to be righteous & to have eternal life. God credits our faith as righteous.  Father, we want to thank you for Jesus. Thank you for letting Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. Thank you for the great exchange. Jesus who knew no sin became sin on our behalf. He took our sins & gave us His righteousness.  We are now children of God because of what Jesus did on the cross for us. We have been made royal. Help us to live as royal.  Prayer is talking to God through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray His will or the Word in faith. God takes delight in the prayer of the upright. If we are not obedient to God & His Word, our prayers will be an abomination to God. They will be detestable to God. What makes our prayers powerful & effective? It is righteousness.  Faith is all about believing God & His Word in total. You do not know how it will happen but you are fully convinced, fully persuaded that God will do it. Faith connects us to God. We receive all things from God on the basis of our faith in Jesus Christ.  Without faith we cannot receive anything from God. Without faith we cannot please God. We are saved by grace through faith. We are made righteous by faith. We live by faith & not by sight, senses, feelings or logic. We receive divine healing by faith, etc. How does faith come? Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. As you hear the Word, read it, study it, meditate on the Word of God, memorize it, obey it in total, faith comes. Faith is Word based. It influences God to act.  Being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised. (Romans 4:21). Abraham never doubted that God would fulfil His promise. Abraham's life was marked by mistakes, sins & failures as well as by wisdom & goodness, but he constantly trusted God. His faith was strengthened by the obstacles he faced, & his life was an example of faith in action. Abraham looked to God, obeyed Him, & waited for God to fulfil his Word. What does faith entail? Faith is all about about believing God & His Word. You dont know how it will happen, but you are fully convinced, fully persuaded that God will make it happen. How do we get faith? Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. In faith, we take God at His Word, always believing that He is able to do what He said in His Word that He would do. Is faith important in the Kingdom of God?  Testimony: I would like to thank the Lord for not only healing me but for giving me divine health. In 1998 I was retired from gainful employment on medical grounds. At one time my father prepared for my funeral, gathering firewood & mealie meal from our communal lands. I had been relying on oxygen for three days & doctors had told him that, that was my end. Look at me, through worshipping the Lord in spirit & in truth; & serving Him with a whole heart & a willing mind, I am enjoying not only healing, but divine health. Praise the Lord.

 Let us repent of our sins & God will give us His righteousness in Christ. Refuse sickness & disease; do not be comfortable with it; pray against it & God will give you healing & if obedient, divine health. We have to deal with sin head on & submit to His Word in total, to qualify for divine health. Pray against poverty & God will give you sufficiency & an abundance. He will make you rich. All the things discussed therein, Jesus dealt with them on the cross. They are benefits of our salvation. God bless you all.

 But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through Him. (Romans 5:8-9). God sent Jesus Christ to die for us, to die for our sins, not because we were good enough but because He loved us. Whenever you feel uncertain about God's love for you, remember that He loved you before you turned to Him. If God loved you when you were a rebel, He can surely strengthen you, now that you love Him in return. The love that caused Christ to die for our sins is the same love that sends the Holy Spirit to live in us & guide us everyday using the Word of God as our standard. The power that raised Christ from the dead is that same power that saved you & is available to you in your daily life.  What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin, how can we live in it any longer? (Romans 6:1-2). Some thought &/or questioned: If God loves to forgive, why not give him more to forgive? If forgiveness is guaranteed, do we have the freedom to sin as much as we want? Paul's forceful answer is: By no means! Such an attitude - deciding ahead of time to take advantage of God - shows that, that person does not understand the seriousness of sin. God's forgiveness does not make sin less serious; His Son's death for sin shows us the dreadful seriousness of sin. Jesus paid with His life so that we could be forgiven.
