Many of those who believed now came & openly confessed  their evil deeds. A number who had  practiced sorcery  brought their scrolls together & burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. (Acts 19:18-19). Ephesus was a center for black magic & other occult practices. The people used magical formulas to give them wealth, happiness & success in marriage.  Superstition & sorcery were common place. God clearly forbids such practices. You cannot be a Christian & hold on to the occult, black magic or sorcery.  Such practices are powered by satan, he is the source of that power & wealth. But the good news is: God's power is even greater. Jesus in us is greater than satan in the world. If you are mixed up in the occult, learn a lesson from the Ephesians & get rid of anything that could keep you trapped in such practices. Bring the magical equipment to the churches so that they can be burned  publicly. This way, you will be free indeed. As a new Christian, i urge you not to throw them away or to burn them on your own, your faith may be weak, bring them to the churches so that they can be burned publicly. If the church does not have the capacity or faith to do so, they can get the services of those in supporting ministry. They will help to destroy the magical equipment. They are equipped & anointed to do that.Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit.  Prayer: Father, some of your people are struggling with magical equipment. Some got them before they became Christians & others inherited them when their relatives died. Now they are Christians & they still have the magical stuff in their homes. I disconnect them from the effects of those magical things. I pray that the Holy Spirit convict them so that they bring all their magic stuff for destruction publicly. They are some who are practicing double standards. They are Christians but who are still in the occult practice. Holy Spirit convict them in regards to sin, righteousness& judgement. Save their souls. Deliver them from satanic oppression in Jesus name. Help them to bring in their magical equipment to be burned publicly.  Thank you Father for hearing & answering my prayer.
