They preached the Good News in that city & won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium & Antioch, strengthening the disciples & encouraging them to remain true to the faith. We must go through many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God, they said. (Acts 14:21-22). Paul & Barnabas returned to visit the believers in all the cities where they had recently been threatened & physically attacked. These men knew the dangers they faced, yet they believed that they had a responsibility to encourage the new believers. They considered their lives as worth nothing for the sake of finishing the task that God had given them, the task to testify of the grace of God; the task to  preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. No matter how inconvenient or uncomfortable the task may seem, we must always support new believers. Why? They need our help & encouragement. It was not convenient or comfortable for Jesus to go to the cross for us. Let us accept any assignment from God gladly, whether it is tough, risky or not. We need to win souls for God at all costs. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father i pray for your church worldwide. Help us to continue from where Jesus & the early apostles left, by preaching the Gospel, or witnessing the resurrection of Jesus Christ to the lost & dying world. Help us to have a burdened heart for soul winning. Every soul is precious before God. Open all doors which are closed to us so that we can preach the Gospel there.  As we share the Gospel, help us to make it simple. Holy Spirit, work with us, convict the people & bless our efforts. Give us the grace to win souls for God. Give us the grace to preach the Word amid much opposition. Make us encouragers so that we strengthen your church. Thank you Father for hearing & answering my prayer.  In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen.  God bless you all.
