As Paul discourses on righteousness,  self control & judgement to come, Felix was too afraid & said: That's enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you. (Acts 24:25). Paul's talk with Felix became so personal  that Felix grew fearful. Paul's words were interesting until they focused on righteousness, self control & judgement to come. Many people will be glad to discuss the Gospel with you as long as it doesn't touch their lives too personally.  When it does, some will resist or run. But this is what the Gospel is all about - God's power to change lives. Christianity is all about a changed life. Anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour of his life genuinely, his life will change. His focus in life, attitude, motives will change to be godly. His will, will change to following God's will. His mind is renewed, he now sets his mind on things in Heaven above & not on earthly things. If this doesn't begin to take place in your life in an increasing measure, check yourself whether you are genuinely in the Christian faith. You may NOT be true to God. In such a case, you may need to repent, rededicate yourself to Christ. This way,  you will make peace with God. The Gospel is not effective until it moves from principles & doctrine, into life-changing dynamics. When someone resists or runs from your witness, you have undoubtedly succeeded in making the Gospel personal. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, help us to abide in your Word. Let the Word of God by your Spirit, remove the weeds in our lives. Align our lives & words to the Word of God. Change our lives to be like Christ. Give us the grace to live holy lives. The Bible says: Without holiness, no one will see the Lord. This is fearful bearing in mind the current state of today's church. Help us to be Word based & true to You. Change the way we talk. Let Christ increase in our lives & let us reduce. Make us humble, loving, forgiving, faithful, broken, etc. Brokenness is key. Deliver us from worldliness.  Worldliness has crept into the church system making it more worldly. Lord Jesus, help us. We will not see you if we do not live holy lives & be at peace with you. If we do not see you: means that all the service we are doing is a waste of time. We are ACTING Christianity. We will not make it to Heaven because we are not bearing fruit, much fruit, fruit that will last. This situation makes me cry everyday. Arise Lord, take revival to a higher level & restore your church. Do it urgently Lord. If Jesus comes today in the state we are in, it will be a disaster, a sad story. I have a burdened heart for revival, salvation & deliverance of your church. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. Put your angels to action.
