 O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still. (Psalm 83:1). God is not slow as some may consider slowness. He does not keep silent. He hears our prayers & answers those which are in line with His will. He takes delight in the prayer of the upright. He answers their prayers speedily. So when He keeps silent, He is waiting for us to draw near to Him so that He could in turn draw near to us. He will be waiting for us to deal with sin in our lives. Sin makes a separation between you & God. God can't reach you because of sin. Deal with it head on, as it occurs, & you will see that God will not keep silent.  He decreed statutes for Jacob & established the law in Israel, which He commanded our forefathers to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, & they would in turn tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God & would not forget His deeds but would keep His commands. (Psalm 78:5-7). God wants us to build generationally. He wants us to pass on the Word of God to the next generation so that it would not forget His deeds but would keep His commands. This is God's perfect plan for us.  Has His love vanished forever? Has His promise failed for all time? (Psalm 77:8). As children of God, we sometimes go through situations where we think God has forgotten us; has in anger withheld His compassion & mercy. We feel that way but God does not do that. He is a compassionate God, & is full of mercy & justice. What He says, He will do. What He promises, He will fulfil. He is a covenant keeping God, a way maker, a promise keeper, a miracle working God. When we are faithless, He remains faithful. His love does not vanish. His love is unconditional.  Why have you rejected us forever, O God? Why does your anger smolder  against the sheep of your pasture? (Psalm 74:1). Our God is love, but He is also a consuming fire. His fire consumes everything in our lives that God did not plant. His fire refines us & we get aligned to the Word of God & by the Spirit. God can be angry at us. What makes Him angry at us? It's living in sin. There is a difference between making a mistake & living in sin. When you live in sin, you sin wilfully; you make plans to sin, test those plans to see whether they will work out well, & proceed to ACT on them with full knowledge that you are sinning. This is what living in sin does to a person. God is against such people. There is no more sacrifice of sins for those who sin wilfully. Your sin makes a separation between you & God. Use the remaining 3 minutes to pray His will in FAITH. Thus, you need to wake up just 7 minutes earlier in order to do your devotions. They will build you up in your Christian life. God wants us to speak righteously. He wants us to speak words which heal, build, edify, encourage, comfort,  strengthen; words which are full of faith, words which gives grace to those who hear them. God does not want us to devise injustice. The spirit influencing us to do injustice to others does not come from God. It comes from satan. Our God is a God of justice.  The fool says in his heart: There is no God. They are corrupt, & their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.  (Psalm 53:1). True, the Bible is correct when it says that those without God are fools. Even those who know the truth of the Word but do not obey it, they are fools as well. They cannot do good because it's only God that works righteousness in us. We can only do the works of God's mercy by obeying God & His Word in total. Carefully follow ALL His commandments. If God would remove his spirit from us, would we be able to UNDO that. So why  say there is no God?  No one can reverse the process of death except God only.
