How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty. (Psalm 84:1). Heaven is our eternal home. It is our final destination. It is God's place of righteousness or holiness. No evil thing will find its place there. God said in Hebrews 12:14: Without holiness, no one will see the Lord. He means what He said. We have to be righteous before Him in order to make it to Heaven. Playing church, making it entertaining, will not take us to Heaven. Only righteousness, leading to holiness. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. If our hearts are not pure, we will not see God; we will not have faith, we will not connect to Him. Our prayers will be detestable. Be enlightened. Prayers: Father, our desire is to win souls for you & to make it to Heaven. To live & reign eternally with you in the next age. Prepare us accordingly in Jesus name. Lead us in the way everlasting. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. I despatch angels under our complement to minister to our needs in Jesus name. In Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen. This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
