O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still. (Psalm 83:1). God is not slow as some may consider slowness. He does not keep silent. He hears our prayers & answers those which are in line with His will. He takes delight in the prayer of the upright. He answers their prayers speedily. So when He keeps silent, He is waiting for us to draw near to Him so that He could in turn draw near to us. He will be waiting for us to deal with sin in our lives.
