 Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save. When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the Maker of Heaven & earth, the sea, & everything in them - the Lord, who remains faithful forever. (Psalm 146: 3-6). What a way to start this new year 2024. I urge you to start with God. Put Him first in everything that you do. Enthrone God's Word in your life & obey it. Pray His will continually & in FAITH. Trust Him, not in January only, but the whole year. He will work out the answers for you. He will flood your life with blessings. He will lead you in the way everlasting. You will not lack.  When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who know my way. In the path where I walk men have hidden a snare for me. (Psalm 142:3). As we serve God with a whole heart & a willing mind, we sometimes face difficulty situations. Do not listen to people who says that when you convert to Christ, all will be rosy for you. Look at Paul: The Bible says: But the Lord said to Ananias: Go. This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles & their kings & before the people of Israel. I will show Him how much he must SUFFER for my name. (Acts 9:15-16). The Bible says: For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on Him, but also to SUFFER for Him. (Philippians 1:29). The Bible says in reference to Paul: We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. (2 Corinthians 1:8 b - 9a). Under such situations, your spirit will grow faint. ...

 Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. (Psalm 141:3). God wants us to have Him in our hearts & to have His Word in our mouths. He wants us to speak words which heal, build, edify, encourage, strengthen, comfort; words which are full of faith, words which gives grace to those who hear them. Why does He want us to speak that way? Because words reveal character. Words reveal what is in our hearts. We speak from the abundance of the heart. How can we speak right as Christians? Hear the Word, read it, study it, digest it, internalize it & obey it DAILY. The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to change our lives & to renew our minds. In Christianity, there is nothing like: I was joking, because what you say comes from the heart. You will be hiding behind a finger  if you say that.  Rescue me, O Lord from evil men; protect me from men of violence, who devise evil plans & stir up war every day. (Psalm 140:1-2). God protects us every day. If you are pursuing the righteous path, He will hide us under the blood of Jesus. The devil cannot touch us there. Sometimes He ALLOWS adversity to come our way to refine us, prepare us for the challenges ahead, & lastly, to enable us to have Christlike character. Without character we will not go far in ministry. I am talking about power & effectiveness. There is a level in ministry where gifts alone cannot not work well. They need the back up of character to operate at optimum level. Character helps you to maintain your position at the top. Without character you will fall. Many of us are highly gifted but we live under oppression because we do not know how to use those gifts. I urge you: Grow in the grace & knowledge of Jesus Christ & your gifts will be REKINDLED. They will help you to be a game changer. P...

 O Lord, you have searched me & you know me. (Psalm 139:1). God searched  for us & found us. He demonstrated His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. He took our sins & gave us His righteousness. This is the great exchange. Before Christ died on the cross for our sins, we, the Gentiles, were lost, our sins were not forgiven, we were not connected to the real God. We had no fellowship with God. We thank God through Christ for making it possible for us to have a direct relationship & fellowship with Him. Christ restored the broken fellowship with God. We give God all the praise & glory.  I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; before the gods I will sing your praise. (Psalm 138:1). God wants us to praise Him from the heart. Praise is not a Sunday morning thing when we go to church. It is a LIFESTYLE.  Wherever we are, whatever we do, we must praise the Lord. The fruit of our lips giving praise & thanks. Let us not praise God for the things that we can get out of Him only, but for who He is. Before the gods of this world, praise the Lord & demonstrate the Spirit's power.  For there our captors asked us for songs, our tormentors demanded songs of joy; they said: Sing us one of the songs of Zion. How can we sing the songs of the Lord while in a foreign land. (Psalm 137: 3-4). Someone is in this situation. You are in the wrong camp, the devil has captured you. He is mocking both you & your God. He is making you do things that we Christians do not do.  May your priests be clothed with righteousness; may your saints sing for joy. (Psalm 132:9).  Father, make us righteous. Give us that kind of righteousness that leads to holiness. Do not allow us to have a righteousness of our own that comes from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ - the righteousness that comes from God & is by faith. God credits our faith as righteousness. This righteousness leads to holiness. Without holiness, no one will see the Lord. If you can't see Him, then you can't walk with Him. If you can't walk with Him, then your prayers are detestable to Him. It is written: If you turn a deaf ear to the Law, even your prayers are detestable. Here you are.  My heart is not proud, O Lord,  my eyes are not haughty; i do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. (Psalm 131:1). God wants us to be humble & gentle in heart. Humility is a heart issue & not an outward appearance issue. God wants us to imitate the humility of Christ. What is  humility? Humility is regarding yourself one step LOWER than others. Humility comes before honor. What about pride? Pride is regarding yourself one step HIGHER than others. Pride comes before a fall. God opposes the proud & gives more grace to the humble.  They have greatly oppressed me from my youth - let Israel say - they have greatly oppressed me from my youth but they have not gained victory over me. (Psalm 129:1-2). No weapons formed against me shall prosper. The devil has been fighting me from my youth. He for years struck me with terrible & terminal sicknesses, but God healed me. I missed death on three occasions, in 1986, 1995 & 1997 but God delivered me from the spirit of death. God did not end there, He has given me divine health. Over the years I faced extreme hardships & lack. But God has shown His great mercy & grace to us. There is not even a day that we slept without having food. The Lord was faithful to provide to us.The devil fought me for decades of years. He has tried every trick in his book in a bid to stop this ministry that you see today. But God was faithful to me. If you are God-fearing, if you walk in His ways, you are blessed. Blessings & prosperity will be yours. You will eat from the best of the land. Poverty will leave you. Note: Poverty is a demon. Though Jesus was rich, yet for your sake He became poor so that you through His poverty might become rich. It is God's will for us to be rich & to walk in dominion & live as royal. The blessing of the Lord makes us rich & He adds no sorrows to it.  Unless the Lord builds the house, it's builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. (Psalm 127:1). A Christian marriage is like a three legged African pot. It comprises of three parts - husband, wife & God. It is like a TRIANGLE. The tip of the triangle is where God is positioned. The two base or wider sides of the triangle are where the husband & wife are positioned, each on his or her own side. For the marriage to stand, the husband must leave his position & walk towards God. The wife must also leave her position & go towards God. If they go towards each other, they will clash; they will be conflict. As both goes in the direction of God, the triangle becomes narrow & narrow. Meaning: our problems or differences will become less & less. Our hearts will be knitted together & we will live in a good & understanding manner.  Unto you I lift my eyes, O you who dwell in the Heavens. (Psalm 123:1). Heaven is our eternal home. It is our final destination. To make it to Heaven, live right with God. Live by faith in Jesus Christ. Set your heart & mind  on things in Heaven above & not on on earthly things. Set your eyes on Jesus Christ. He is the author & finisher of our faith. Do we go there for social, entertainment, to find people who will mourn you when you die & give you a good or descent funeral. No, not at all. We go to church for fellowship with other believers, to strengthen & encourage each other as the Day of the Lord is drawing near. Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus.  I will lift my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven & earth.  (Psalm 121:1-2). We often struggle as Christians about many things in life. Our economies are not performing well. Money is not circulating among the people as it should. Inflation is going up. Prices of basic goods & services are going up. New taxes are being introduced resulting in making what was already difficult, more difficult.  Surrounded by some of these circumstances, where do you look for help? To the government or to God? To men or to God? I urge you: Look to God, that is where our help comes from. Do not put your focus on your circumstances.  Put your focus on God. He is the Answer or Solution.  Save me, O Lord, from lying lips & from deceitful tongues. (Psalm 120:2). God is light. He is the Father of lights. Every good thing comes from Him. His light in us does not allow us to lie.  For great is His love toward us, & the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord. (Psalm 117:2). God is love. Love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God & knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God.  I love the Lord, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. (Psalm 116:1). God attends to our cry for mercy speedily. It is written: Mercy triumphs over judgement. When we cry for mercy, God quickly attends to your prayer. However, we must be ready to confess our sins & repent of them. There is joy in Heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine people who need no  repentance. Repentance is key in Christianity. Let us produce FRUIT in keeping with our REPENTANCE.  The highest Heavens  belong to the Lord but the earth He has given to man. (Psalm 115:16). Why did the Lord give the earth to man? The answer is: So that we bring the will of God here on earth as it is in Heaven. How do we do the will of God? God has given us His Word. It is our standard for daily living as Christians.  As we obey it, as we align our lives, words & thoughts to His Word, we are doing His will. As we share or witness Jesus Christ to the lost & dying world, we are doing His will. It is written: He who wins souls is wise. Meaning: if we do not win souls for God we are unwise before Him. As we heal the sick & deliver the  oppressed we are doing His will. As we help the poor, needy, disabled, aged, widows, orphans, believers, pastors, smaller churches, etc, we are doing His will. If you give to the poor, you lend to the Lord. EMPOWER them & poverty will leave their homes. Christianity will have a meaning in their lives & families. The ...
