Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. (Psalm 141:3). God wants us to have Him in our hearts & to have His Word in our mouths. He wants us to speak words which heal, build, edify, encourage, strengthen, comfort; words which are full of faith, words which gives grace to those who hear them. Why does He want us to speak that way? Because words reveal character. Words reveal what is in our hearts. We speak from the abundance of the heart. How can we speak right as Christians?
