I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; before the gods I will sing your praise. (Psalm 138:1). God wants us to praise Him from the heart. Praise is not a Sunday morning thing when we go to church. It is a LIFESTYLE. Wherever we are, whatever we do, we must praise the Lord. The fruit of our lips giving praise & thanks. Let us not praise God for the things that we can get out of Him only, but for who He is. Before the gods of this world, praise the Lord & demonstrate the Spirit's power. Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for hearing & answering my prayers. Give us the grace to bow down before You & praise Your name. Help us to praise you highly at all times. May all the kings of the earth praise you. May they sing of the ways of the Lord. Your glory is great. Increase your glory, righteousness, presence & favor upon our lives in Jesus name. I put to action angels under our complement in Jesus name. Let them guard us & minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray; believe & give you thanks, Amen. Immanuel: God with us. This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
