When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who know my way. In the path where I walk men have hidden a snare for me. (Psalm 142:3). As we serve God with a whole heart & a willing mind, we sometimes face difficulty situations. Do not listen to people who says that when you convert to Christ, all will be rosy for you. Look at Paul: The Bible says: But the Lord said to Ananias: Go. This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles & their kings & before the people of Israel. I will show Him how much he must SUFFER for my name. (Acts 9:15-16). The Bible says: For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on Him, but also to SUFFER for Him. (Philippians 1:29). The Bible says in reference to Paul: We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. (2 Corinthians 1:8 b - 9a). Under such situations, your spirit will grow faint. I have been walking in this road since 1992. It's a PAINFUL road indeed but I thank God for being there for me at all times. The Lord has turned the tide from suffering mode to prosperity mode. Yes, 2024 is a prolific year for me. I will produce much fruit. The best is yet to come. Church, when you see our brothers & sisters suffering, do not undermine them; do not think that they have done something wrong. They may be suffering for being a Christian. God will have allowed such situations to refine them & prepare them for the challenges ahead. Look at Jesus, Joseph, Job, etc. What wrong did they do. Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for being there for me as I was in the FURNACE of affliction. (Isaiah 48:10). Thank you for turning the tide in my favour NOW. Let your favor flood my life NOW as I approach 2024. I put to action angels under our complement. Let them minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we give you thanks, Amen. Immanuel: God with us. Heaven Rules.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ's words, activates our ...
