The Holy Spirit is our Helper & Comforter. He is not a Spirit of the world & can only be received by those who have converted to Christ. If you cooperate with Him, He will help you in any matter. He is able. He intercedes for us as well. NOTE: There is a difference between those who have converted to Christ, (believers) & those who have just joined a church, (religious). There is a difference between faith & foolishness, relying on logic, etc. Christians are followers of Christ. Let us be found doing just that: What? FOLLOWING CHRIST.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
