Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel. Should you not know justice, you who hate good & love evil; who tear the skin from my people & the flesh from their bones. (Micah 3:1-2). Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus. Thank you Father for hearing & answering my prayers. Have mercy on us. Forgive us our sins. Remove wickedness from our lives. Wash us by the blood of Jesus. Let Your will be done hear on earth as it is in Heaven. Provide for us. Favor us & protect us in Jesus name. Restore us & let your name be glorified through us. You are a God of justice, the Righteous judge. We praise you highly. In Jesus name, Amen.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
