Daily Devotional: The word of the Lord came to me: Son of man, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see & ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people. (Ezekiel 12: 1-2). Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for accepting my fastings & answering my prayers. In today's text you have said: We have eyes but we do not see, ears but we do not hear. I have meditated on the possible cause. It's sin. It has made a separation between you & us. It has made us rebellious. It has caused us to create Christian religion instead of advancing Your Kingdom. Christianity is a relationship with God, it is not a religion but we have created religion thereby causing many divisions in the church. We have lost direction largely as your church worldwide. We have adulterated your Word. I pray that you craft a way from where we are to where we should be as your church. Raise faithful men & women, prepare them & release them into the ministry. Release the one third remnant into the ministry to help save the situation. I assign angels under our complement to act upon my prayers. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks, Amen. Heaven Rules.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
