Daily Devotional: For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the city of bloodshed, to the pot now encrusted, whose deposit will not go away. Empty it piece by piece without casting lots for them. (Ezekiel 24:6). Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for accepting my fastings & for answering my prayers. Thank you for today's text. You are against the shedding of blood. I intercede for those who hands are full of blood. Convict them by the power of the Holy Spirit in regards to sin, righteousness & judgement. Cause them to confess their sins & to repent of them. Forgive them their sins. Wash them by the blood of Jesus. Purify them from all unrighteousness. It is written: Though their sins are as red as crimson, they shall be like wool. I assign angels under our complement to act upon my prayers. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks, Amen. Heaven Rules.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
