Teaching: What is prayer? Prayer is TALKING to God. It is a RELATIONSHIP with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. God considers the PERSON who is praying as much as He does of the WORDS being said. How do we pray? We pray the Word or His will in FAITH. The kind of prayer that pleases God: God is pleased with the prayer of the upright. (Proverbs 15:8). He hears the prayer of the righteous. (Proverbs 15:29). Prayer that does not please God: If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are DETESTABLE. (Proverbs 28:9). Because most of us Christians of today do not obey the Word of God, our prayers are detestable. We are just making noise to God or fulfilling a church program, but God is not pleased with such prayers. God will not answer them. Until we live by faith, love & obedience, we will continue to go round the mountain. What makes our prayers powerful, effective & impactful? Its righteousness. It is written: the prayer of a righteous man is powerful & effective. How do we become righteous? God CREDITS our faith as righteousness. Heaven Rules.
Business God's Way: During this annual shutdown for most businesses, i urge you to rest, have quality time with the family & connect with God. Go for a holiday with the family if you can afford. After that, spend some quality time with God in a quiet place for an hour or so & seek His guidance. Carry your note pad & write the points down. Read your Bible, do meditation & pray. Present your plans to the Lord for the coming year & let Him approve them in His own time & in His own way. Be calm, quiet & composed, in order to hear that small still voice, gentle whisper from God. Result: The voice of God will give you guidance & direction for the coming year 2023. If things have not been okay with you in business, the Lord will enable you to have peace & joy in the midst of such storms. He will give you a way out. Do not panic no matter what comes your way. Remain focused on the perfomance & growth of your business. Do not murmur or complain...
