Quiet Time: Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassion never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself: The Lord is my portion, I will wait for Him. (Ezekiel 3:22-24). Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for accepting my fastings unto the Lord & for answering my prayers. I always start this way so that people will all know that prayer works & that God answers pray. He answers prayer speedily. Faith puts power behind our prayers. Thank you for your compassion which never fails & which are new every morning. This makes our quiet time daily very fruitful as we FELLOWSHIP with You. Our relationship with you becomes more & more INTIMATE & stronger as each day progresses. I will wait for your set time. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit. Faith & patience go hand in hand. Give us the grace to wait for the Lord, & not to settle for less. We are serving you, the God of more than enough. Through the cross, the shed blood of Jesus purchased riches for us. Do not serve money, serve & worship God in spirit & in truth; let money serve you. I assign angels under our complement to ACT upon our prayers. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks, Amen. Heaven Rules.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
