Teaching: I am going to send you what the Father has promised; but stay in the city until are clothed with power from on high. (Luke 24:49). Jesus said: Do not rush into ministry. Wait until you are clothed with power from on high. They obeyed & on the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit baptized them. Their ministry became powerful & impactful. They became very bold. People were healed & delivered. Miracles, signs & wonders took place. People prophesied. Multitudes were saved. This is what happens when we are filled & led by the Holy Spirit. They will be ACTION on the ground. The Holy Spirit is God in action. Why is the church today weak & powerless? We are not waiting until we are clothed by power from on high before we get into ministry. We have sidelined the ministry of the Holy Spirit. We are now doing SERVICE WITHOUT GOD. What shall we do then? Repent, ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit, wait unto you receive that POWER, then go into the mission field in the power of God & WIN SOULS for God. Be devoted to prayer & to the ministry of the UNADULTERATED Word of God. To those who are ready in Christ: Receive the Holy Spirit & power by faith in Jesus Christ, Amen. Heaven Rules.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
