Daily Devotional: Outside is the sword, inside are plagues & famine; those in the country will die by the sword, & those in the city will be de voured by famine & plague. All those who survive & escape will be in the mountains, moaning like doves of the valleys, each because of his sins. (Ezekiel 7:15-16). Prayer: Father, i thank you for Jesus. Thank you for accepting my fastings & for answering my prayers. Do not let this charge to come to us. Help us to confess our sins & repent of them. Send your Holy Spirit, let Him convict your people in regards to sin, righteousness & judgement. I stand in the gap interceding for your people. My hands are CLEAN. Relent from taking this action. Rather, have mercy on us. Let your mercy speak for us. Let your mercy locate us & triumph over judgement. I assign angels under our complement to act upon my prayers. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe, & give you thanks, Amen. Heaven Rules.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
