How deserted lies the city, once so full of people! How like a widow is she, who once was great among the nations! She who was queen among the provinces has now become a slave. (Lamentations 1:1). Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for answering my prayers & accepting my fastings unto the Lord. In today's text we see you removing your favor & protection from the people. The city that was once full of people lies deserted. People weep bitterly at night & have no one to comfort them. Father, we know that what you did before you can do it again. We know that you are a God of justice & will always mete out that justice in your own way & time. Our continual life of sinning makes you act in that manner. I intercede for Your church & the nations. Do not remove your protection & favor from us. You said if there is one righteous person standing in the gap that you will relent from taking such action against the church & nations. Here I am Lord, standing in the gap. I live by faith, obey your Word in total & am completely sold out to Christ. My hands are CLEAN. Save the nations & deliver them. Holy Spirit convict them in regards to sin, righteousness & judgement. Do not reduce us to ashes. Do not let us eat grass like what you did with king Nebuchadnezzar. Have mercy on us. Be slow to take action so that all may come to REPENTANCE. I assign angels under our complement to guard us & to act upon these prayers. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks, Amen. Heaven Rules.

No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ's words, activates our ...
