Again & again I sent my servants the prophets who said: Do not do this detestable thing I hate. But they did not listen or pay attention; they did not turn from their wickedness or stop burning incense to other gods. Therefore, my fierce anger was poured out; it raged against the towns of Judah & the streets of Jerusalem & made them desolate ruins they are today. (Jeremiah 44:4-6). Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for hearing & answering my prayer. Thank you for accepting my fastings unto the Lord. We see from today's text that serving other gods arouses your anger. You are a jealous God. You do not want to be double crossed. We are worshipping different gods as your church today. The situation is more or less the same with what made Judah & Jerusalem desolate ruins. I intercede for Your church. Yes it is stiffnecked but I pray for it. Son of David, have mercy on us. Do not make our towns & cities desolate ruins. We confess our sins & repent of them. Convict us by the power of the Holy Spirit. Restore our CLIMATE to what it was before, very fruitful indeed. Increase incomes & stabilize the prices of basic commodities in the shops so that the majority of people can afford & live comfortable. Bring peace among all warring parties. Remove corruption from especially those in authority & bring about true justice in the land. I believe that there is no request that is too big or small to you. You accept all prayers & answer them. I assign angels under our complement to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks, Amen. Heaven Rules.

No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ's words, activates our ...
