To whom can I speak & give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The Word of the Lord is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it. (Jeremiah 6:10). Prayer: My Father, we are sorry. Forgive us our sins. Change our lives & renew our minds. Change our attitudes & focus. Help us to enthrone your Word in our lives & not to regard it as offensive. The above Scripture portrays the state of your church today. We have replaced your Word with rules made by men & taught by men. The Word of God is now offensive to most of the churches. Son of David, Son of David, have mercy on your church. Let your mercy locate us & speak for us. Open our minds to understand the Scriptures & to obey them. It is written: Obedience is better than sacrifice. Thank you Father for delivering us from all forms of satanic oppression. Thank you for restoring us, knitting our hearts back to you. I assign angels under our complement to guard us & to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks, Amen. More prayer & fasting = more power & more wonders. This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
