Then the prophet Jeremiah has said to Hananiah the prophet: Listen, Hananiah! The Lord has not sent you, yet you have persuaded this nation to trust in lies. Therefore, this is what the Lord says: I am about to remove you from the face of the earth. This very year you are going to die, because you have preached rebellion against the Lord. (Jeremiah 28: 15-16). Prayer: Father, my Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for hearing & answering my prayers & for accepting my fastings unto the Lord. Thank you for confiding in me & for making me your spokesman. We see in today's text that you did not sent Hananiah the prophet & yet he preached rebellion against the Lord. Today, many prophets have come & are persuading people to trust in lies. Root out their influences from your church. Cause them to repent. If they refuse to repent: Remove them from the face of earth in the same way you dealt with Hananiah. Lead your church in the way everlasting. I assign angels under our complement to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Heaven Rules.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
