People from many nations will pass by this city & will ask one another: Why has the Lord done such a thing to this great city? And the answer will be; Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord their God & have worshipped & served other gods. (Jeremiah 22: 8-9). Prayer: Father, my Father, you pronounced judgement on evil kings. You changest not, this Scripture still applies to us church of today. What you did before you can do it again. You are a God of justice. You have zero tolerance towards sin. Have mercy on us. Let your mercy locate us & speak for us. Forgive us our sins. We repent of our sins. Relent from acting upon this judgement. It is your standard that if there is one faithful person, you will relent from taking action. Here I am, your righteous servant & vessel of honor in your house. Do it for me, in Jesus name. Restore your church. Deliver your people in Jesus name. Thank you for your divine intervention in this case. Thank you for hearing & answering my prayer. I assign angels under our complement to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks, Amen. Heaven Rules.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
