So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you. (Jeremiah 7:16). Prayer: Father, we acknowledge that we are in the ministry of the Holy Spirit & of the angels. We must be guided & led by Him. Help us not to rush to pray for any situation before we get the go ahead from Him. We have seen from today's text that they are some cases that you may not want us to pray for. The secret things belong to you, the Lord our God. Help us to be guided by this principle: If the Holy Spirit says: pray, we will pray. If He says: don't pray like in this case, we will not pray. If He says: go, we will go. If He says: don't go, we will not go to that place. Help us to follow His leadings always. Thank you for hearing & answering my prayer. Thank you for accepting my fastings unto the Lord. I assign angels under our complement to guard us & to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. More prayer & fasting = more power & more wonders. Prayer & fasting is my life & my life a prayer. I acknowledge that Heaven Rules.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
