Those who walk up rightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death. (Isaiah 57:2). Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus. I thank you for hearing & answering our prayers. Forgive us our sins. Purify us from all unrighteousness. Give us your kind of peace. Give us your kind of righteousness, the righteousness which comes from You on the basis of our faith in Jesus Christ. Give us this revelation: If we do not walk uprightly during our life on earth, when we die, we won't have peace. Even if we say at the grave or write on the tombstone words like: REST IN PEACE; there will be no peace for the one who has died without Jesus. Give us the grace to find You while you can still be found & we can have peace. This peace we go with it to Heaven. Credit our faith as righteousness. I assign angels under our complement to guard us & to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Personally: Prayer & partial fasting is my life & my life a prayer. This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
