This is what the Lord says - your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. (Isaiah 48: 17). God of Israel, i thank you for Jesus. I thank you for bringing salvation to us by grace through faith. Thank you for hearing & answering our prayers. Thank you for teaching us what is best for us. Thank you for directing our steps in the way that we should go. Forgive us our sins. We confess & repent of them. I put to action angels under our complement to guard us & minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we give you thanks, Amen. Prayer is my life & my life a prayer. Note, this is key: More prayer, more power, more wonders.. Immanuel: God with us.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
