Like whirlwinds sweeping through the southland, an invader comes from the desert, from a land of terror. (Isaiah 21:1). This is a prophecy against Babylon but it is still relevant to us today. Satan is the invader. He invades us, stealing our peace. He puts doubt, fear in our lives & make us worry. He deceives us leaving us having unbelief. I have good news for you. Submit yourself to God, resist him & he will flee from you. Live by faith. Faith overcomes satan, the source of all evil, wickedness. Faith quenches all the fiery missiles of the enemy. Faith puts power behind prayers. Faith makes the impossible possible. Faith connects us to God. Faith pleases God & influences Him to ACT. Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for hearing & answering our prayers. Forgive our sins. Purify us from all unrighteousness. Help us to put the whole armor of God so that we can stand against all the attacks of the enemy. I put to action angels under our complement to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen. Immanuel: God with us.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
