Woe to you, O destroyer, you who have not been destroyed. Woe to you O traitor, you who have not been betrayed. When you stop destroying, you will destroyed; when you stop betraying, you will be betrayed. (Isaiah 33:1). Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for hearing & answering our prayers. Forgive us our sins. We acknowledge you as a God of justice. We know you are not slow in dispensing justice as some may understand slowness but that you want all to come to REPENTANCE & make peace with you. You do not operate like we do. You are kind & merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgement. Protect us, your children. Secure us by the blood of Jesus & the fire of the Holy Spirit. Be an enemy to our enemies. Oppose those who oppose us. Bless those who bless us & curse those who curse us. Show your power. I assign angels under our complement to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Immanuel: God with us.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
