See a king will reign in righteousness & rulers will rule with justice. (Isaiah 32:1). Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for hearing & answering our prayers. Forgive us our sins. Daily, we sin in word, in deed & in thought. Wash us by the blood of Jesus. Purify us from all unrighteousness. Make us righteous. Credit our faith as righteousness. Let this righteousness lead to holiness. Let this righteousness exalt our nations so that they will be peace, unity, progress & prosperity in our nations. It is written: Without holiness no one will see the Lord. Many of us church going people, are not living holy lives. It means that they will not see You. Father, have mercy on us. Help us to live a life of holiness so that we will not perish after having preached the Gospel & attended church for decades of years. I plead the blood of Jesus upon our lives, families, ministries your church worldwide, & the nations. Remove righteousness of our own from our lives & give us righteousness that is on the basis of our faith in Jesus Christ. I assign angels under our complement to minister to our needs. I stand on the authority of your Word. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Immanuel: God with us.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
