Elder at Prayer Ministry.

 Raise the war cry, you nations & be shattered. Listen all you distant lands. Prepare for battle & be shattered. Prepare for battle & be shattered. Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted, propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us. (Isaiah 8:9-10). In Christ we are safe & secure. No weapon formed against us will prosper.  Yes the enemy may devise plans or attack, but he will not win. God has made us overwhelming conquerors through Christ who loved us.  Our victory is in Christ Jesus. We have this assurance of victory: The enemy may devise strategies, but God will thwart them. The plans of the enemy will not stand, for God is with us. If you are obedient to God & His  Word, these Scriptures will come out true in your life.  But Ahaz said: I will not ask; I will not put the Lord to the test. (Isaiah 7:12). Our God is the Most High God. He is our Creator, the covenant keeping God, the way maker, the promise keeper, the miracle working God. Do not put Him to the test. Rather, obey Him & His Word in total. Be truthful, faithful, dependable, Word based, & prayerful. Be a man of integrity. Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. The Alpha & the Omega.  Forgive us our sins. We sin in word, in deed & in thought. Have mercy on us. Wash us by the blood of Jesus. Let the Word of God make us CLEAN. Help us not to put You to the test.  And they were calling to one another: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory. (Isaiah 6:3). Holiness is key in the Kingdom of God. It is written: Be holy as I am holy. It is also written: Without holiness, no one will see the Lord. If we can't see the Lord, it means that we have no relationship with Him. We are just church goers who want to please themselves but do not want to do the will of God. Our prayers will be detestable to Him. They will not be answered. We will continue to go round the mountain. Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Lord of life, Lord of all. Forgive us our sins. Give us the grace to live a life of holiness.  Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine & champions at mixing drinks. (Isaiah 5:22). Those brothers & sisters of ours who drink beer, wine, strong stuff, etc, hear what the Word of God is saying. It is not God's will for a Christian to take in alcoholic drinks. I trust that beginning today you will quit taking beer. If you are addicted, slow down with a view to quit. If you are serious, the Holy Spirit will help you & the withdrawal  process will be easier & shorter. Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus. Forgive us our sins. Help us to obey your Word in total & not to be in breach of it. Those Christians who are taking alcoholic beverages, help them to quit.  In that day seven women will take hold of one man & say: we will eat our own food & provide our own clothes, only let us be called by your name. Take away our disgrace. (Isaiah 4:1). The background to this story is that the Lord will take his place in court to judge the people. The men will fall by the sword, your warriors in battle. Say, seven women will take hold of one man. The judgement of God is not something that we can take lightly on. I urge you: Seek God while He may be found. Let us be true to God. Be Word based, obey it in total & pray His will in faith.  Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. (Isaiah 3:10). If you are righteous I have good news for you today. It doesn't matter what you are going through today, how difficult your path is, it will be well with you. God has said it & He will do it. What He promises, He fulfils. I say to someone who is righteous, who is going through severe hardships, difficulties & who has been in that situation for long: IT IS WELL WITH YOU. Believe & receive in Jesus name.  In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, & all nations will stream to it. (Isaiah 2:2). The church should assume it's rightful position in the world. It is supposed to be the powerhouse  full of God's glory & power. As chief among the mountains many people will stream to it for advice, for teachings about God's ways & how to walk in His paths. It is written: The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of POWER. The Holy Spirit is a Spirit of power. He is God in action. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. As the church, we are far from aligning to this position where the glory of the latter church will be greater than the glory of the former church. To assume our rightful position in this world & suffocate the devils, let us deal with SIN in our lives. Confess your sins & repent of it. Live by faith. Abide in the Word. Believe the Word ...

 When you spread your hands out in prayer, I will hide My face from you; even if you offer many prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are full of blood. (Isaiah 1:15). God wants us to have CLEAN hands. If you are busy plotting evil  against your fellow brothers who are doing well or better than yourself, you have dirty hands. God will hide His face when you pray. If you are killing people (physically or spiritually), thinking that you are offering a service to God; or putting them out of the church, or into a backslidden state, so that they will not serve God as they should, etc, your hands are full of blood. God will hide His face from you when you pray. If you turn a deaf ear to the law or Word of God, even your prayers are detestable to God. God will hide His face from you when you pray.  Now all has been heard: here is the conclusion of the matter: fear God & keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Our whole  duty is to be God-fearing. What happens when we fear Him? God will CONFIDE in us. You will not be a prophet but you will know the secrets of God. You will be entrusted with power, wisdom, indescribable gifts, awesome anointing, etc. Remember: The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of POWER. You will DEMONSTRATE the Spirit's power so that people's faith will not rest on the wisdom of men but on the power of God. What steps should one take in order to be influenced to fear God?  Hear the Word DAILY, read or study it, meditate on it day & night, internalize the meditated portion, OBEY its principles.  Pray His will only continually & in FAITH.  Sow your seed in the morning & at evening let not your hands be idle,  for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well. (Ecclesiastes 11:6). Christian life is about sowing & reaping. What you sow you reap in MULTIPLICATION.  Sowing does not relate to money only. Note: Whatever you do for God,  whether it involves money or not, you are sowing & you will reap in MULTIPLICATION. Diversify your sowing for you do not know which seed will do well. Sow, say the Word in the morning & in the evening & watch God perform it. This is sowing unto the Spirit. We now move to money & investments. Diversify your sowing. Have the main business activity & supporting cash cows. When recession, economic shocks, run away inflation hits hard the main business activity, the cash cows can sustain you. You can convert the properties, land, cars into cash & help to cushion yourself from effects of the economic ...

 Words from a wise man's mouth are gracious but a fool is consumed by his own lips. (Ecclesiastes 10:12). God wants us to be wise & to speak His wisdom. How do we become wise? The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Get connected to God through Christ & stay connected to Him. This way, you will speak words which heal, build, edify, encourage, strengthen, comfort, full of faith & grace.  You will control your temper. Fools on the contrary when you get them bruised a bit, they speak words which are toxic, careless, abusive, etc. They shoot very quickly & manifest toxic overtones within seconds.  For the living know they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward & even the memory of them is forgotten. (Ecclesiastes 9:5). Many Christians & pastors do not understand the condition of the dead. At funeral services I hear them make speeches like: Sister, go well. Look after your children. Go where? This is not something like a 100 km journey. When the spirit departs, it simultaneously appears before God. It's not like the dead will go on a 3 hour journey before they reach God. They can't look after anyone. It is written: Their love, their hate & their jealousy have long since vanished. Never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun.  Who is like the wise man? Who knows the explanation of things? Wisdom brightens a man's face & changes its appearance.  (Ecclesiastes 8:1). Wisdom makes you excel where others have reached a limitation. Wisdom from God helps you to maintain peace & to solve complex problems. Wisdom helps you to love your enemies & to love the unlovable. King Solomon had such exceptional wisdom. He maintained peace during his rule though  he ended up having serious LUST. Having 700 wives & 300 concubines is not wisdom, it is not love, it is lust. He looked at women lustfully. This is not wisdom, it is foolishness. I urge you: Love your wife & be GLUED to her for life. Honor her, respect her & celebrate her, that is the wisdom of God.  A good name is better than fine perfume & the day of death better than than the day of birth. (Ecclesiastes 7:1). A good name is better than fine perfume. In Christianity, CHARACTER is key. It enables us to maintain our position at the TOP. It makes our gifts to work at optimum level. Without character,  you will not go very far. Even if you get to the top by back door, lack of a good name or character will fail you there. There is a certain level up there where spiritual gifts alone would not work well. They would require the back up of  character or a good name to work better. A good name is better than fine perfume & it makes us powerful, effective & impactful in our communities.  We earn a lot of respect resulting in many following you as you follow Christ.  God gives some people wealth, possessions & honor, so that they lack nothing their hearts desire, but God does not enable him to enjoy them & a stranger enjoys them instead. This is meaningless, a grievous evil. (Ecclesiastes 6:2). Wealth given us by God is not supposed to be accumulated only. Apart from  being blessed to bless others, we are also supposed to ENJOY our wealth & possessions. Go on on holiday, eat good food, live as royal. God has made us royal & we need to live as royal.  Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in Heaven & you are on earth, so let your words be few. (Ecclesiastes 5:2). The Bible says: Be slow to speak. It also says: Let your yes be yes & your no, no. If you make a vow to to the Lord your God, do not be slow to pay it, for the Lord your God will certainly demand it of you & you will be guilty of sin. But if you refrain from making a vow or pledge, you will not be guilty. Whatever your lips utter, you must be sure to do, because you made your vow freely to God with your own mouth.  Two are better than one because they have a good return from their work; if one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls & has no one to help him up. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Together we can make greater impact in the communities & nations. The task given us by God will be easy to accomplish. Apart from commanding a blessing where there is unity, God knows: Together we will make it. Let us be united as the Godhead is united. Why? There is power in unity & numbers.  There is a time for everything & a season for every activity under Heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Every season if you handle it Biblically, will result in a promotion or change of level. God allows trials & tests to prepare us for the challenges ahead. He may put us in a furnace of affliction to refine us. He may prune us so that we may bear more fruit. Not only much fruit but fruit that that will last. He allows different seasons to come our way to accomplish the above. We grow spiritually & become better Christians. Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. You are a Lord of life & Lord of all. We praise you highly.  Yet when i surveyed all that my hands had done & what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind, nothing was gained under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 2:11). It is possible to work hard from morning till late at night daily & have nothing to show for it at the end of the cycle period. Put God first. Let Him guide you.  I have seen all the things that are done under the sun: all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind. (Ecclesiastes 1: 14). Why is life like a chasing after the wind? Its because they are two kinds of wisdom. Wisdom that comes from above & earthly wisdom. Earthly wisdom is earthly, unspiritual & demonic. It is where you have envy, bitterness, selfish ambition, disorder & every evil practice. But wisdom that comes from Heaven is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy & good fruit, impartial & sincere. If you are controlled by earthly wisdom, your life will become like a chasing after the wind. Prayer: Thank you Father for Jesus. We magnify your name. Forgive us our sins. Wash us by the blood of Jesus. Fill us with Heavenly wisdom so that we will not find ourselves chasing after the wind.  She opens her arms to the poor & extends her hands to the needy. (Proverbs 31:20). This oracle talks of the wife of noble character. We must not only pray & do nothing.  We must follow the example of the woman in this oracle. Pray continually & work hard. Prayer will open the doors so that you are able to work hard & produce the fruit of your labor. Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus. You changest not. I extol your name. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Help us to pray continually, work hard & give more generously. I assign angels under our complement to minister to our needs.  Do not add to His words, or He will rebuke you & prove you a liar. (Proverbs 30:6). God does not want us to add to His Word or to subtract from it. He doesn't want us to turn to the right or to the left. He doesn't want us to twist His Word or to adulterate it. Take God at His Word & walk in it. If He gives you two things, speak those two things, do not add more. This shows that you are a disciplined child of God. I urge you: maintain that discipline, you will go far with God. Prayer: Father; I thank you for Jesus. Our refuge & strong tower. Forgive us our sins. Help us to maintain discipline  at all times.  Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law. (Proverbs 29:18). True, where there is no vision people perish. Without a vision you will not know where you are going, how much ground you have covered in terms of your vision. The vision guides you when making important decisions. Have a vision & live it. Follow the vision at all times, you will not make errant decisions. Rather, you will maintain God's standard. Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus & praise You highly. We sin in word, in deed & in thought. Forgive us our sins today. Give us BIG dreams. Let those dreams or visions guide the way we live our lives.  He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses. (Proverbs 28:27). Being too stingy can result in you attracting many curses. God blesses us so that we bless others. If we decide  to close our eyes to the poor, we will receive many curses. Why? Because we will be operating in breach of the Word of God. Some things are not  moving right in your life because you are closing your eyes to the poor. Food for thought. Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Everlasting Father. Mighty God.
