The Lord detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleases Him. (Proverbs 15: 8). God is not pleased with the gifts, money or sacrifices made by those who are wicked or who live in sin. He wants us to give our lives to Him first & then we can bring our gifts to Him. If we are wicked & think that we can bribe Him with our gifts & other sacrifices, we are deceiving ourselves. Our money, gifts & sacrifices become DETESTABLE to Him. God will not multiply them back to us. We will remain average despite our giving. We will not become righteous. Someone may ask: Where is righteousness coming in since we are talking about giving? It is written: He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever. Now He who supplies seed to the sower & bread for food will supply & increase your store of seed & will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. (see 2 Corinthians 9:9-10). Our gifts to God have a bearing on righteousness. Why? Because our generosity results in thanksgiving to God. Note: Its not how much you give that is important to God but the manner in which you give it. Biblical giving is an INDESCRIBABLE gift. Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for hearing & answering my prayers. We confess our sins. Forgive them & wash us by the blood of Jesus. Let Your Word make us CLEAN. I assign angels under our complement to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe, & give you thanks, Amen. Immanuel: God with us.

No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ's words, activates our ...
