The kings heart is in the hand of the Lord; He directs it like a watercourse wherever He pleases. (Proverbs 21:1). They are kings who are stubborn, hard hearted & oppress their own people. They think that they have power & are indispensable & irreplaceable. Hear what the Word of God is saying to those kings: Your heart is in the hands of the Lord. He directs it wherever He pleases. He can remove His spirit from you & tomorrow they will be a funeral. It will be your death. I urge you all kings: Respect God's people. Treat them well. Let the Gospel spread without discrimination. Note: We can pray & God will answer. He will not only answer anyhow, but will answer speedily. He is a God of justice. He is a consuming fire. Prayer: Father I thank you for Jesus. He is the same, yesterday, today & forevermore. Forgive our sins today. Direct the hearts of the kings in the right way, the way everlasting. Open doors for the spread of the Gospel. I assign angels under our complement to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Immanuel: God with us.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
