I will set before my eyes no vile thing. The deeds of faithless men I hate; they will not cling to me. (Psalm 101:3). It is written: Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. It is written: bad company corrupts good morals. It is written: He who walks with the wise grows wise but a companion of fools suffers harm. Meaning: if you walk with fools you will become one of the fools. Choose your friends or connections wisely. Have a discerning spirit. Note that spirits transfer from one person to another through ASSOCIATION, thus the need to follow the counsel of the Bible & not walk with fools. Prayer: Father, help us to choose our friends wisely. Help us to be discerning: to discern good from bad, truth from error, right from wrong. Help us to die to sin daily & to be true to God & walk humbly with Him. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. In Jesus name, I assign angels under our complement to minister to our varying needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray & give you thanks, Amen. Good morning Holy Spirit. Immanuel: God with us. This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
