Jesus when He came the first time, He came to deal with SIN. He dealt with the sins of the whole humanity on the cross. This is how we the Gentiles, the heathens got the opportunity to receive salvation. In the first covenant, God was a God of Israel & the Jews only. He is now the God of all. Jesus is coming again for the second time. This time He is going to deal with the SINNER. He is going to look for FAITH on earth. (see Luke 18:8). I hear many people who just go to church but are not wholly connected saying: Jesus is coming. Jesus is coming with excitement. They do not know that when He comes He is going to punish the sinner including them. What shall we do brothers? Let us live a life of holiness for the Bible says: Without holiness, NO ONE will see the Lord. Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see the Lord. If our hearts are not pure, we will not see God. Let us stop playing church & live by faith, pray His will in faith & strive to speak the Word in general conversation. Jesus will look for FAITH when He comes. Remember, without faith you cannot be connected to God. You cannot please God. You cannot receive anything from God. You cannot win any spiritual battle. You cannot be saved. When I look at the condition of the churches today, i cry because i know its fate from the Bible. I am crying. Note that as we play church, God is populating Heaven. Tax collectors & prostitutes are entering the Kingdom of God ahead of us. (see Mathew 21:31). Doors will be shut to many who are saying Lord, Lord today, because they are doing evil in the churches & communities.(see Mathew 7: 21-23). This is what the second coming of Jesus will bring to the people. Be enlightened. I end here. Immanuel: God with us.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ's words, activates our ...
