Church, the problem is not about praying. People pray to God daily. Some pray at midnight, 3 am, after every 3 hour interval, do all night prayers on a fixed day weekly. There is too much prayer being generated by the church going population. What is the problem then? It's simple: Are we praying God's way? That is: Are we praying His will & in Biblical FAITH? Are we UPRIGHT? If the church wants life changing results, we need to pray God's way. We need to do His will. Failure to do that we pray YES, but our prayers will be detestable. What good is it? We continue to go through the same struggles, week in, week out, month in, month out, year in, year out. Let me end here. Immanuel: God with us. Heaven Rules.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
