An oracle is within my heart concerning the sinfulness of the wicked. There is no fear of God before his eyes. For in his own eyes he flatters himself too much to detect or hate his sin. The words of his mouth are wicked & deceitful; he has ceased to be wise & to do good. Even on his bed he plots evil; he commits himself to a sinful course & does not reject what is wrong. (Psalm 36:1-4). God has given us a standard. His standard we find it in the Word of God. I urge you to hear the Word, read it, study it, commit it to memory, meditate on it & apply it to your life daily.  The Word of God is our standard or manual for daily living as Christians.  Let us weigh everything that we see, or hear, or say, or  do, or think, in the light of the Word of God. Meet God in His Word daily. This way, you will not be lost or led astray. Live the Word, pray the Word or His will, believe the Word, speak the paraphrased Word in general conversation.  The Word of God is life. It is Spirit. It is the Word of prophecy. It is a double edged sword. It is our spiritual food for the inner man. It is our spiritual weapon. It produces faith & strengthens it. It is the sword of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to transform us, change our attitudes, motives, garments, language & renew our minds. It truly guides us in the way everlasting by the Spirit. When you, as a believer read it, you are reading the Holy Spirit or the mind of Christ. Whoever has genuinely accepted Jesus as Lord & Saviour of his life will never remain the same. He will grow to be like Christ. He will walk as God walks, talk as God talks, think as God thinks & feel what others are feeling as God feels. He will not follow a sinful course. Church, to make progress in our Christian lives, let us deal with SIN head on. There is nothing like small sin, medium sin or big sin. SIN is SIN. Take full responsibility for it as it occurs, otherwise it will stand in between you & God, block your blessings & delay your destiny. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Prayer: Father, help us to have a Bible reading & meditation of the Word culture. Help us to put into practice what we learn from the Word of God. Remove wicked & deceitful words from our mouths. Help us to be God-fearing. Remove flattery from our lives & give us the grace to deal with SIN head on as it occurs. Cause us to stand up for Jesus & reject what is wrong. Help us to love the sinner & hate sin. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. Put your angels to action. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Good morning Holy Spirit. Heaven Rules.
