God is our refuge & strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way & the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar & foam & the mountains quake with their surging.  (Psalm 46:1-3). God is our refuge & strength. He gives us maximum protection & security. He keeps us where satan cannot touch us. Someone may say: Why all this trouble? The answer is two fold. Firstly, it's you who is living in sin & paving way for the devil to influence you. God cannot intervene in your case because He respects your personal will. He created us as free moral beings. A Christian can have a demon if he wants. God will not stop you. He doesn't force anyone to do His will but we grieve the Holy Spirit when we sin wilfully. We render as useless the blood of Jesus. We nail Jesus Christ on the cross again. We insult the Spirit of grace. This is what we will be doing spiritually when we choose to live in sin. Note: There is a difference between making a genuine mistake & living in sin. Making plans to sin, testing them to see whether they will succeed & proceed to sin wilfully, with full knowledge that you are sinning. There is no forgiveness of sins anymore for people doing this after receiving the knowledge of truth. (Hebrews 10:26). Secondly: Troubles come not because you have done something wrong, but that satan has asked God to sift you like wheat & God in turn gives him the permission & conditions. God will be boasting to the devil about you like He did with Job. He uses these attacks to prepare you for the challenges ahead, mold your CHARACTER, refine you in the furnace, etc. Do not fail God. By way of testimony: God allowed Satan to test me for 30 years. He used every trick in the book over this peiod & failed to make me alter my confession of Christ. I have overcome satan & God has given me a new season. A season of peace & financial prosperity. Praise the Lord. God is our refuge & strength, an ever present help in trouble. When faced with adversity, call to God, submit yourself to His Word & you will WIN no matter what. God is in control. He will always come through for you if you are dependant on Him. He knows no failure. He knows no defeat. Fear not. Doubt not. Worry not. Do not have pressure. Cooperate with the Holy Spirit & you will experience His help, right on time. Prayer: Father, you are never late or early but that you come through for us right on time. Give us the grace to wait patiently, expectantly, calmly, with faith & obedience until our victory, success & breakthrough comes. For those who are undergoing trials & tests, despatch your angels right now. Let them minister to their needs. I pray for them. Grant them victory, success & breakthrough.
