I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad & rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name. My enemies turn back; they stumble & perish before you. (Psalm 9:1-3). Let us praise the Lord. God wants us to praise Him highly. He wants us to bless His holy name. Praise is powerful. It is like a weapon of mass destruction. The moment we begin to praise the Lord, things will begin to happen. The enemy will suffocate & fall down. The moment you begin to sing songs of praises to God from the heart, & speak praises to God as the fruit of our lips, God will cause the devil's camp to experience panic & confusion. The enemy will be so confused that they will begin to destroy each other, leaving you untouched & unharmed. Someone may say: Wilton, is this Scriptural? Yes, it is. Let me quote one or two Scriptures to support this position. The Bible says: As they begin to sing & praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon & Moab & Mount Seir who were invading Judah, & they were defeated. The men of Ammon & Moab rose against the men from Mount Seir to destroy & annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped destroy one another. When the men of Judah came to the place that overlooks the desert & looked towards the vast army, they only saw dead bodies lying on the ground; no one had escaped. (see 2 Chronicles 20:22-24). This is the power of praise in evidence. Do not play dirty tricks with a God-fearing person, when he praises God Almighty you will suffer the same fate. You will suffocate & fall down.Think of the most dangerous weapon this world has. I can only think of a nuclear weapon. Praise causes greater impact than that. It is like a weapon of mass destruction. Let me cite another example on the power of praise: Paul & Silas were arrested & thrown into prison. About midnight, Paul & Silas were praying & singing hymns to God & the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly, they was a violent earthquake  that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, & everybody's chains came loose. The jailer woke up & when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword & was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted: Don't harm yourself, we are all here. (see Acts 16:25-28). What kind of prayer & praise did Paul & Silas made which influenced God to ACT that way? I believe: These men were TRUE to God. They had a relationship with God.They were not FAKE. They prayed the Word, spoke the Word, lived the Word, etc. They were holy. They sang hymns from the HEART. This is why God showed up in such a manner. When we sing, let us reduce the speed to allow singing with INSPIRATION. Understand the words you are singing & INTERNALIZE them in your HEART. Let us not just make a performance to entertain people, but to do it from the heart. If we sing with inspiration, demons will manifest & you can cast them out & deliver people very easily. More people who see it will convert to Christ. Do all things unto the glory of God & not to be seen by men. Let us be Christians in heart & not Christians outwardly. Let us be pastors in heart & not merely pastors in the office. Food for thought. Prayer: Father, thank you for Jesus. Teach us how to praise you. As we praise you, defeat our enemies & let satan suffer shame & disgrace. Let his demons suffocate as we FLY higher & higher in Christ. Let us walk in DOMINION through praise. We shake the foundations of the earth through praise. We pull down strongholds & break dividing walls through praise. This is the power of praise: The fruit of our lips giving praise, & singing hymns from the heart. In Jesus name we pray & believe, Amen. Good morning Holy Spirit. Heaven Rules.
