And whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, to give His life as a ransom for many. (Mark 10:44-45). James & John wanted the highest positions in Jesus' Kingdom. But Jesus told them that true greatness comes in SERVING others. Peter, one of the disciples who heard this message expands the thought in 1 Peter 5:2-3: It reads: Be shepherds of God's flock under your care, serving as overseers - not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for MONEY, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being EXAMPLES to the flock. Most businesses, organizations & institutions measure greatness by high personal achievement. In Christ's Kingdom, however, SERVICE is the way to to get ahead. However, do not do service without God. Be a believer, be filled with the Holy Spirit & allow Him to lead you. Wait until He empowers you for the mission. This way, you will be given the necessary gifts, abilities, anointing, power, wisdom, revelation, etc, to enable you to do your assignment with ease. You will not struggle to do God's work. You will not be overwhelmed with the assignment.  You will not look for miracles or stage manage them. Miracles will follow you wherever you go. God will do signs & wonders with you. This is what happens when you do service with God. God will give you His ENERGY to use. You will not get tired. You will run & not get weary. The anointing upon your life will never run dry. In fact, it will continue to increase. You will not run short of testimonies. How do we serve others? We serve others in love, humility, simplicity & for the glory of God. The Bible says: The humble shall inherit the earth. Let us take after the nature Christ. He was not a boss or master. No. He was humble & gentle in heart. This is how He managed to be successful in His mission to deal with sin & death. Note that our war is not against human beings but against evil spirits. If you are fighting people, you are fighting a wrong battle. It's a battle powered by satan & not God. We fight evil spirits, the spirits behind the situation.  Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, help us to understand this: instead of seeking to have our needs met, we must look for ways that we can minister to the needs of others. Let this word JOY have a meaning in our lives as Christians:

J - JESUS FIRST

O - OTHERS SECOND

Y - YOURSELF LAST. 

Let Jesus increase in our lives & let self reduce. Fill us with your love. I believe that love looks for someone to help. It helps us to forgive one another since it covers over a multitude of sins. I pray for you today: Be filled with God's love & you will find yourself loving your enemies, the unlovable & sinners. You will love the sinners & hate sin. Thank you Jesus for hearing my dialogue prayer. Put your angels to action. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen.  Peace be with you.

 They have greatly oppressed me from my youth - let Israel say - they have greatly oppressed me from my youth but they have not gained victory over me. (Psalm 129:1-2). No weapons formed against me shall prosper. The devil has been fighting me from my youth. He for years struck me with terrible & terminal sicknesses, but God healed me.
