Jesus replied: I tell you the truth, if you have faith & do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain: Go, throw yourself into the sea, & it will be done. 22). If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. (Mathew 21:21-22).  Both verses are talking about faith. They are bringing out two aspects: 1. SPEAKING the Word of God in faith, & 2. PRAYING His will in faith. What is faith? It's all about believing God & His Word in total. You take God at His Word. You do not know how it will happen, but you are fully convinced, fully persuaded that God will fulfil His promises. You believe that God is able to do what He said in His Word that He would do. Faith is always toward God or in Jesus Christ. How does faith come? It comes by hearing the Word of God or the message of Christ. To hear in this context also means to act upon the Word. Faith without works or action is dead. Faith connects us to God. Faith pleases God. Faith influences God to ACT. Faith must be LIVED by. Faith must be CONFESSED. Your faith can only go as HIGH as the level of your confession. We BELIEVE the Word & SPEAK it. Faith is the basis of the Kingdom of God. It is the CURRENCY of the Kingdom of God. Without faith, you cannot receive anything from God.  We are saved by grace through faith. We are made righteous by faith. God credits our faith as righteousness.  We receive healing by faith. We live by faith & not by sight, senses, feelings or logic. LOGIC has NO place in the Kingdom of God but faith. There is a kind of faith that God wants us to have: Faith that expresses itself through LOVE. God is love. As His children we must take after His nature & be loving. If we are UNLOVING, we will be under satanic oppression or DEMONIC influences, please take note. In verse 21 we see that Jesus did not make a prayer for the fig tree not to bear fruit again. Like Jesus, sometimes we do not pray, we just SPEAK the Word in faith & it will be done. God honors faith the most. But on condition that you do not doubt & you live an UPRIGHT life in Christ Jesus. In most times we PRAY His will in faith. Fear not, doubt not, only believe. What you say will be done. What you decide upon will be done. (Job 22:28-30). When you pray the Word or His will in faith, your prayers will be answered. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, you have given each a measure of faith. I pray that you develop it further in Jesus name. Strengthen our faith as we hear the Word, read it, study it, memorize it, meditate on it & obey it. In Jesus name, Amen. Peace be with you
