While Jesus was still speaking, some men came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue ruler. Your daughter is dead, they said. Why bother the teacher anymore? Ignoring what they said, Jesus told the synagogue ruler: Don't be afraid; just believe. (Mark 5:35-36). Jairus's crisis made him feel confused, afraid, & without hope. Jesus's words to Jairus in the midst of crisis speak to us as well: Fear not, only believe. In Jesus' mind, there was both hope & promise. The next time you feel hopeless & afraid, look at your problem from Jesus' point of view. He is the answer to all our problems. He is the source of all hope & promise. He is the author & finisher of our faith. There is no problem that He cannot solve. Nothing is difficult with Him. He is full of faith, power, wisdom & revelation. When men came to tell the synagogue ruler about her daughter's death, He heard the message & told them: Don't be afraid; just believe. His mind was clear that He was going to raise Jairus daughter back to life. But this did not happen without opposition. When He got to the house, there was commotion & wailing. People LAUGHED at Him when He said: The child is not dead but asleep. But Jesus ignored them & remain focused on God. He took the girl's parents & went where the child was. He took her by the hand & said: Little girl I say to you, get up. Immediately the girl stood up & began to walk. The mockers were silenced. On the way to your miracle, people will fight against you, mock you, laugh at you, call you names: Fear not, only believe. Remain focused on Jesus, your breakthrough will come & God will silence your enemies & mockers forever. Your miracle or blessing will be so BIG that your mockers will congratulate you publicly. Everyone will know that God has surely visited you, upgraded you & blessed you BIG. Being a wise person entails knowing when to speak, how to speak, & when to overlook or ignore. You respond in the spirit; in accordance with the Word of God & not in the flesh. The art of IGNORING is a necessary virtue in Christianity. Jesus used it on many occasions & overcame tests & temptations with it. By way of testimony, I use the art of ignoring a lot in my life. People who would have laid a trap on me, their plans will fail. They will go into confusion, suffer shame & disgrace & just leave me alone, just by ignoring them. The art of ignoring makes them irrelevant. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, fill us with a spirit of wisdom & a spirit of revelation. Wisdom & revelation will help us to do Your stewardship well & to destroy the schemes, tricks, tactics, plans of satan. Give us the grace to understand the art of ignoring, knowing when to talk, how to talk; & when to ignore, overlook & keep quiet. Deal with our enemies. As you have said in your Word: Those who oppose the obedient, the God fearing, oppose them. Fight against those who fight them. Curse those who curse them & bless those who bless them. Show your POWER. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Grace be with you.
Business God's Way: During this annual shutdown for most businesses, i urge you to rest, have quality time with the family & connect with God. Go for a holiday with the family if you can afford. After that, spend some quality time with God in a quiet place for an hour or so & seek His guidance. Carry your note pad & write the points down. Read your Bible, do meditation & pray. Present your plans to the Lord for the coming year & let Him approve them in His own time & in His own way. Be calm, quiet & composed, in order to hear that small still voice, gentle whisper from God. Result: The voice of God will give you guidance & direction for the coming year 2023. If things have not been okay with you in business, the Lord will enable you to have peace & joy in the midst of such storms. He will give you a way out. Do not panic no matter what comes your way. Remain focused on the perfomance & growth of your business. Do not murmur or complain...
