and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but He would not let the demons speak because they knew who He was. Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house & went off to a solitary place, where He prayed. (Mark 1:34-35). Why didn't Jesus want the demons to reveal who He was? 1. His time was not yet up. Jesus wanted to reveal His identity as the Messiah according to His timetable, not according to satan's timetable. 2. By commanding the demons to remain silent, Jesus proved His authority & power over them. 3.Jesus wanted people to believe He was the Messiah because of what He said & did, not because of the demons' words. Satan wanted people to follow Jesus around for what they could get out of Him, not because He was the Son of God who could truly set them free from sin's guilty & power. Jesus took time to pray. Finding time to pray is not easy, but prayer is the vital link between us & God. Like Jesus, we must break away from others to talk with God, even if we have to get up very early in the morning to do it. What produced all the miracles that Jesus did? Faith, obedience,  & prayer. What He did privately, between Him & God alone, is what produced all the miracles that people witnessed. His private life manifested publicly. If you want miracles to follow you or to characterize your life & ministry, do these simple things: 1.Be a Christian. 2. Be true to God. 3. Be devoted to prayer & to the Word of God. Hear the Word, read it, study it, hide it in your heart so that you will not sin against God; meditate on it & obey it in total. Live by faith. Live a life of holiness. Pray His will & not your own will. Pray continually & in faith. Believe the Word always, speak it, & watch God HONOR His Word. He will confirm it without fail. Praise the Lord & give thanks to God. Praise is like a weapon of mass destruction. When you praise the Lord, the enemy will go into panic & confusion. They can even destroy one another because of that confusion. This is the power of praise. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, teach us to make powerful, & fervent prayers. Help us to make dialogue prayers. Help us to be UPRIGHT always. Help us to pray the Word or your will always. Help us to set aside time early in the morning to talk to You. We believe that prayer is talking to God. Prayer is a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.  Make our prayer life fruitful. Make prayer our life & our life a prayer. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer.  In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen.  Peace be with you.
