For false Christ's & false prophets will appear & perform great signs & miracles, to deceive even the elect - if that were possible. (Mathew 23:24-25). Jesus warnings about false prophets, false teachers, still hold true. Upon close examination  it becomes clear that many nice-sounding messages don't agree with God's  message in the Bible.  Only a solid foundation in God's Word can equip us to perceive the errors & distortions in false teaching. In times of persecution & severe hardships, even strong believers will find it difficult to be loyal. To keep from being deceived by false messages, we must understand that Jesus' return will be unmistakable. (Mathew 13:26); no one will doubt that it is He. If you have to be told that the Messiah has come, then He hasn't. Christ's coming will be obvious to everyone. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. What will be the IMMEDIATE sign of His coming? The sun will be darkened, & the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, & the Heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky & all the nations of the earth will MOURN. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with great power & great glory. (Mathew 24:29-30). Why would nations of the earth mourn upon seeing Christ? Reality will set in. They will realize that they were deceived by false prophets, false teachers & religion. It is important to note that when Jesus Christ came to earth, He dealt with SIN on the cross. This time He is coming to deal with the SINNER.  This is why the nations of the earth will mourn. They know the truth though they dont follow it. Those who walk without Christ; those who adulterate or twist the Word of God, those who live in sin, those who are pursuing RELIGION & not a relationship with God through Christ, will MOURN at that time. How do we protect ourselves from the influence of false prophets & false teachers? Be devoted to prayer & to the Word of God. Live by faith & not by feelings, sight, or logic.  What do you pray? Pray the Word or His will. Pray continually in faith. Be upright. God is pleased with the prayer of the upright. Hear the Word, read it, study it, hide it in your heart so that you will not sin against God, meditate on it & obey it. Weigh everything that you hear or say or do or think in the light of the Word of God. Meet God daily in His Word. Ask God to open your mind to understand the Scriptures. This is how you prepare. Do not follow church rules which are in direct CONFLICT with the Word of God. God is greater than us, so let us follow only God & His Word in total. This way we will grow spiritually & be in sync with God. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit.  Prayer: Father, there are lot of heresy teachings in our churches peddled by false prophets, false teachers, etc. We are in the last days & the servant's of satan are masquerading as servants of righteousness & creating Christian RELIGION in the process. Religion makes one religious & only Jesus makes one righteous. Your people are being led astray by these false prophets & false teachers. I pray that you RESCUE your people from such influences. Lead them in the way everlasting; the way of prayer & the Bible. The Word of God is life. It is Spirit. Open the eyes of your people & turn them from darkness to light, from satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins & a place among those who are sanctified. Give us the grace to go into the world & preach the Gospel. Work with us & save souls, heal & deliver people. Enable us to do REAL miracles, signs & wonders. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. Put your angels to action. Accelerate our motion of progress in the Lord. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen.  Peace be with you.
