Make a tree good & it's fruit will be good, or make a tree bad & it's fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, & an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But i tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgement for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted & by your words you will be condemned.  (Mathew 12:33-36). Words reveal CHARACTER Words reveal what is in your HEART. God wants us to speak right. He wants us to speak words which heal, build, edify, comfort, encourage, strengthen, full of faith; words which gives grace to those who hear them. He will hold us accountable for every careless word we have spoken on the day of judgement. If you want to have an idea of the person you are dealing with, just hear them speak. The words that come out of their mouths indicate the condition of their hearts. They indicate their CHARACTER. The mouth speaks what the heart is full of. Other versions say: We speak from the abundance of the heart. Some people when they misfire, they hide behind a finger & say: I was joking. Religion & the world accepts that, but Christianity doesn't. Why? The Bible says: The mouth speaks what the heart is full of. So whatever you speak, good, bad, careless, joke or not, etc, will be coming from your heart. It is what will be stored in your heart. If it is bad or evil, it means that junk stuff is stored in your heart. In that case you will have to repent & make peace with God. God wants us to have pure hearts. The Bible says: Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God. The reverse is true: Without pure hearts, we will not see the Lord. Why is God so concerned about our words? Firstly, because our words have creative power. Good words put into existence good things. Bad words puts into existence bad things. Life & death are in the power of the tongue. Those who love it will eat its fruit. Secondly, If our words are not Godly or full of faith & grace, they will affect the growth of our faith. How? Our faith can only go as HIGH as the level of our confession. Note: Faith is the basis of the operations in the Kingdom of God. It is like the CURRENCY of the Kingdom of God.  Without it, there is no transaction, you cannot receive anything from God. Faith pleases God & connects us to God. Without faith, you cannot be connected to God. Now if this faith is weakened or disturbed through negative confession, it means our prayers are weakened as well. We will not have a fruitful prayer life. You will not have answered prayers.  Bad confession can invite satan to gain entry into our lives & oppress us. Things like sicknesses, diseases, poverty, cursed life, will not leave you. Bad confession puts into existence the will of satan. Good confession can tear apart the works of the devil. It puts into existence, the will of God. How can we change our confession? Be saved, meet God in His Word daily, pray everyday., meditate on the Word daily & obey its principles. The Holy Spirit will use the Word to transform our lives & renew our minds, attitudes, & motives. We will talk as God talks; think as God thinks; walk as God walks. We will be Christlike. Our hearts & minds will be filled with the Word of God & not junk stuff. We will speak the Word, & pray the Word at all times. Real transformation will take place in our lives. Prayer: Father, align our lives to Your Word. Align our words to Your Word. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. Put your angels to action. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen.
