But Zacchaeus stood up & said to the Lord: Look, Lord! Here & now I give half of my possessions to the poor, & if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount. Jesus said to him: Today, salvation has come to this house, because this man  too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek & to save what was lost. (Luke 19:8-10). Judging from the crowd's reaction to him, Zacchaeus must have been a very crooked tax collector.  But after he met Jesus, he realized that his life need straightening out. By giving to the poor & making RESTITUTION  - with generous interest - to those he had cheated, Zacchaeus demonstrated INWARD change by outward action. It is not enough to follow Jesus in your head or heart alone, you must show your faith by a CHANGED behavior.  Zacchaeus RESTITUTED his ways. Brother or sister, you may have got wealth through cheating, i urge you to make peace with God, restitute your way like Zacchaeus, & continue your humble walk with God. To us, children of God who are not lost, let us love the sinner & hate sin. This is what Jesus did. Let us not judge people & condemn them. Let us help restore them in the spirit of gentleness. Let us love them, witness Jesus Christ to them; the Holy Spirit will convict them in regards to sin, righteousness & judgement. The Kingdom of God will enter into their hearts. More people will be added to the church worldwide. Let us always remember that we are all sinners saved by grace. We are work in progress, we haven't arrived. We need God's grace, mercy, the Word of God & the Holy Spirit to help to make it to Heaven. Heaven is our final destination.  Strain towards what lies ahead, & forget what lies behind. This is how we run the Christian race. Note that a person is not saved by a good heritage or condemned by a bad one; FAITH is more important than genealogy. Jesus still loves to bring the lost into His Kingdom, no matter what their background or previous way of life. Through faith, the lost can be forgiven & made new. Faith connects us to God. Faith pleases God. Faith believes NOW. Faith receives NOW. Everything that does not come from faith is sin. (see Romans 14:23 b). Many people including the elect are good people.  But know today that we are not saved by works, we are saved by grace through faith. Unbelief as we have seen above is sin. That unbelief will disqualify you for Heaven because it is SIN. Remember, that we sin in word, in deed & in thought.  Let us live by faith, pray His will & speak the Word. Let us abide in the Word. Let us help others to know Christ & to be known by Him. Let us make the Gospel of Jesus Christ VIRAL. Let us spread it to all so that the Kingdom of God will enter into the hearts of many people. We will draw all men unto Christ. God will be glorified.  Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, help us to have lives which inspire others to get saved & to be true to You. Help us to love the sinner & to hate sin. Help us to witness Jesus Christ  to them one on one; & door to door. As we witness, let the Holy Spirit work with us & convict the people in regards to sin, righteousness & judgement. Many of us including the elect,  are blind spiritually. I rebuke the spirit behind this situation in Jesus name. Deliver them from this grave situation in Jesus name. Open their eyes & turn them from darkness to light & from the power of satan to God. Forgive their sins & give them a place among those who are sanctified. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. Assign your angels & let them minister to our needs.
